The Purity Wardens are another product of fat/tg/uys playing around with the Chapter Creation tables from Rites of Battle. It is an attempt to create realistic traitors hunting chapter with all its fanaticism and other distressed features.

Home World

Mare Aeternam is a small cold hive world almost fully covered with the water. Surviving humanity tries to overcome the lack of ground under the feet and intolerable frost by hiding in tremendously high tower-cities and floating settlements. This paradoxical mixture of liquid water and extremely low temperatures (which rarely comes upper 20 degree below zero) is being explained by the abnormal saltiness of the local oceans. The amount of fossil fuels is too insignificant to talk about it. Actually there are two ways to produce energy in order to maintain life in the megalopolises: it is solar and wind power plants which both are unbelievably effective in conditions of unstoppable wind melted with thin and almost useless ozone layer. In fact hives even have quit specific mushroom-like shapes that provide the best abilities for the power plants placement. The planet is uninhabited except for humans and some kinds of bacteria which were brought by the first colonists as the source of oxcygen.
