Ribbon
Ribbon is a young elven girl almost always seen with her floating salamander, Rage . They've appeared in a number of comics and are primarily known for having no redeeming quality outside of being cute. She would be improved in every way by being a Touhou.
Origin
A long time ago, while the idea of /tg/ was still just being considered, six young girls, all independently and miles apart, stumbled upon a set of fragmented books. Though curious as to what the purpose of the seemingly senseless glyphs that adorned the pages might be, they found none, and continued on with their lives. Six years later, when they had become young women, they all, by a series of very strange, if not unbelievable, circumstances, found themselves in a small library in Krakow, a city none of them had ever been nor had any connection to. The library seemed abandoned, and despite them all desiring to return to their normal lives, they banded together and journeyed into the basement, compelled by some irresistible force.
After going down an abnormally long staircase, they found a small stone room, built many hundreds of years ago. Inside, beyond some scraps of paper, pots of ink, and a small, mangled skeleton, perhaps that of a cat or dog, they found a large book.
The book seemed rather old, yet was written in only slightly antiqued English. Each of the pages was filled with data, predictions, and odd musings, with slips of paper inserted between the pages with even more contents. All this appeared to be written by a person that referred to themselves as Haborym, without any further details about their identity. The book detailed a long, complex chain of events, all that led to a single phrase at the very end of the book, the "New Garden." The women, confused but desperate to find out the secrets behind all this, abandoned their old lives and dedicated themselves to unraveling the mystery.
The only major clue that they have deduced was that the "Rising Quadrant" that would contain the "Remnants of Idleness" must refer to 4chan and /tg/, respectively, and that the "Six Who Shall Know" who are meant to "Bring About the Ribbon and Rage" could only mean that they needed to make comics about an elf girl and her salamander.
/tg/ Explained
The first set of 6 comics had Ribbon and Rage as the hosts of a show where various parts of /tg/ would be explained. As it became increasingly clear that neither Ribbon nor Rage had any actual knowledge on how /tg/ worked, as well as neither of them actually possessing a sense of humor, the show was canceled after a failed call-to-arms.
The show included a failed explanation on trolling, a failed interview with Cultist-chan, a failed explanation of touhou, a failed explanation of their unpopularity, a failed 3e vs. 4e discussion, and a failed attempt to explain why /tg/ sucks.
After Explained
After being fired as a host, Ribbon tries to find new ways to make ends meet. She endures daily trials brought on by the fact that she lacks any sort of skill and isn't all that bright.
She reflects upon the past, attempts to become /tg/'s mascot, tries buying and selling on ebay, has a lonely game of D&D, finds the ultimate occupation, and has a run in with the law.
Cestree
Cestree, a succubus who loves traditional games, was introduced as a new character. Upon seeing her, Rage felt that Ribbon was now unnecessary, and banished her.
Cestree is in danger of being demoted to a sloth demon, and needs to inspire sexual thoughts in people in order to remain a succubus. This comes as a bit of a challenge, as she is far too innocent to actively attempt to inspire lewd thoughts. Luckily, her natural attributes do the majority of the work for her.
While Cestree and Rage tell jokes, ignore trolls, and rescue young girls from gelatinous cubes, Ribbon flees from hordes of trolls in some sort of hell.
