Most tsundere of Tau generals, Fa/tg/uys masturbate furiously over pictures of her with large breasts. Warhammer 40,000 fluff does not state that tau have breasts and there is perhaps evidence to the contrary, but that doesn't stop drawfags from adding tits to them.
Shadowsun's title comes from her arranging for Tau forces in orbit to position themselves to cast an eclipse-like shadow on the ground over an Ork camp she needed to infiltrate in a stealth suit, earning her the name "Shadowsun" for the unconventional tactic.
Commander Shadowsun, Commander Farsight, and Commander Kais (yes, that Kais)were a trio of Tau prodigies who were selected after a meteoric rise through the ranks to study under esteemed Tau Commander Puretide. There the three of them trained together in competitive and aggressive combat and tactics and were made force commanders.Then she led the weeaboos and their friends to infinity and beyond with her fancy armor and tampon delivery drones. When everybody thought she was just a brainless whore, she demonstrated her true badass talent when she wiped out an entire splintered tendril of the Behemoth hive fleet and exterminated an entire race know as the Reek in the Si'coa system as well as destroying scores of Imperial tanks during the defense of Dal'yth. Afterwards, as the Empire had had some bad luck with a series of brainwashing computer chips turning sour, the Ethereals decided to cryogenicly freeze some of Puretide's best pupils to keep them stored and useable in the future. Shadowsun went to sleep, safe in the knowledge that her rival Farsight was looking after the Empire while she was gone. Then she woke up a few hundred years later and discovered that Farsight had quite literally fucked off from the Empire and taken a ton of ships with him, set up his own private kingdom and given the Ethereals the finger. Needless to say, Shadowsun was pissed. She even blue up Farsight's statue. Some say the reason of she's so angry is because her sisters died at the hand of Khornate space marines armed with new Dark Mechanicum's toys coming from the Perdus fissure, demonstrating to her that the only true path is the grimdark one.
Despite being next to each other alphabetically on this Wiki, Shadowsun has nothing to do with the Cyberpunk game system Shadowrun.
