Why Play Hobgoblin
Tactics
The tactics are current as of second edition (Beta version) Hobgoblin are one of the few armies not in Gold yet, so some more changes can be expected.
Army Rules
Warrior Vassals: both sides know there is no glory fighting serfs. -1 Combat Score bonus for both sides from inflicting hp or overkill in a dual.
Attack Attributes
Iron Rain: – Shooting. Flanking with arrows. shooting into the target’s Flank or Rear Arc gain +1 to hit and +1 Armour Penetration.
Armoury
Infernal Armour: armour. Plate Armour. The wearer gains Aegis (5+, against Flaming Attacks).
Blunderbuss: Shooting Weapon. Range 12″, Shots 1, Str 5, AP 3, Accurate, March and Shoot, Quick to Fire. Does not suffer the negative to-hit modifier from a Stand and Shoot Charge Reaction.
Flintlock Axe: Shooting Weapon. Range 18″, Shots 1, Str 4, AP 2. or be used a a +1 strength two-handed combat weapon.
Hobgoblin Scimitar: Close Combat Weapon. Ment for killing great bests. ap +1 Two-Handed and gains2 Str against Large Beasts Calvery, and Gigantic.
