Note that some of the below have only one aspect or section that is Skubby; for example, the term "Mary Sue" is usually only controversial in whether it applies to certain characters (the precise default definition of the term is also somewhat skubby, but definition skub is easily avoidable if you define your terms), and Fantasy Armor discussions normally only go full retard when Female Armor, particularly "boobplate", comes up.
