Intro[edit]

A new order is rising in this world. The city of Mordheim has fallen, tainted by the Imperialist ways of its ruling nobility. In its ruins, the free people grow more organised, linked together by a common hatred for the incompetent Imperials, those corrupt fools who led them all to misery in their never-ending quest for riches. Those men and women now have a leader, Yuri, whose astounding words and magnetic personnality reignited the flame of hope in the workers' hearts. Together they are the Union and, with the might of their hammers and sickles, they will create a true paradise, the People's Republic of Ostermark.

Some pretend that this particular trait is in fact witchcraft, but any true comrade knows such hateful gossips for what they are, the lies of the devious aristocracy.

Captain Bolchevik[edit]

The great avatar of the Union's glorious ideals, a man who offered himself in sacrifice for the good of the many. He became the vessel of the cause and the condensed form of the dying wishes of many martyrs. And a lot of good and brave people were martyred to create him.

Sister Volkova[edit]

A great patriot, Miss Volkova was already a skilled fighter when the comet fell on Mordheim. Knowing that a better future was waiting for her in the Union, she went with Yuri's organisation. The First Comrade greatly appreciates her talent at making the revolution prevail.

Iron Kurt Heins[edit]

A walking wall, Kurt made the protection of the First Comrade his one and only goal in life. To better achieve that end, Yuri blessed him with the most ardent conviction in the cause that has ever been witnessed in a man. So strong are his beliefs that the devious Imperialist oppressors will reconsider their actions just by meeting him.

Sister Zelenkov[edit]

The devoted assistant of the First Comrade, this woman knows the poisonous ways of her ennemies and has adapted to counter their nefarious plans. She's in charge of the discipline of the band, making sure that false informations and lowly propaganda don't cloud the mind of the partisans. A nod and the sting of her scorpion tail (which is perfectly natural and nothing to be afraid of) ended the lies and the lives of many lapdogs of the nobility.

Notable Moments[edit]

First battle for Freedom: against Van Helsing's Avengers
The imperialist dogs were all to happy to oppress us free people. Those cowards fell back before our unstoppable advance but, when we finally had them cornered, the events conspired against us. Their halfling mercenary had shot comrade Kurt down, the mighty charge of our Captain lost momentum a split second too soon and the powerful words of our great leader did not reach the corrupted ears of our ennemies. Our ideals did not stop the wave of mindless violence from those bloodthirsty animals, but it kept us strong in defeat. Despite the crushing defeat, our only martyr was a member of the Reds and the rest of us emerged with renewed faith from the ruins.


Second battle for Freedom: against the Order of the Chimera
Once again, the imperialist dogs tried to suppress freedom. The Union was trying to locate the ill-obtained but well-hidden gold of the aristocracy, somewhere in the ruins. And the lapdogs of the Empire tried to stop our valiant comrades, but this time they were ready. The fighting was short and bloody, and they fell to the might of the Captain, who captured the ennemy leader. He was released after an intensive lecture on the evils of his way, which will surely bear fruits later.


Third battle for Freedom: against the Nomad Valkyries
The vile ennemy sent women, crazed by the aristocratic propaganda, to quell the revolution. Disoriented by such loathsome tactics, the brave comrades of the Union commited a number of errors, believing that showing their good intentions would be enough to deter the female workers. This was not the case and, once again, communist blood stained the floor of Mordheim. Several good people suffered serious wounds in this battle and the First Comrade got disheartened by such barbary, which left him depressed and half-insane. To the Union, the message was clear and no more mercy will be had for the pawns of the Empire.
