Background[edit]

Shining Parcels of Your Heart, or "Your Heart" as she prefers to be called, is one of the luckier newly-exalted Sidereals. The Chosen of Endings actually managed to correctly guess the death of her previous incarnation, and was happily stolen away from her parents at the ripe age of around six months. She was taken from the South from a family of simple vagabonds. Once she reached the age of ten, she began working in The Golden Barque of the Heavens as a courier of tiny, mostly unimportant things. Her propensity for knowing how to turn a deal however, was noticed even at this early age as she did her best to sell small candies to visitors to the ship, and even so far as to feign that the things she brought carried a 'service charge'. Around the age of 20, her predecessor passed on, and she almost immediately inherited his estate, though not his exaltation. It would be four more years before that. In this time she did her best for a mortal to keep track of her previous exaltation's businesses in Yu-Shan, and found that he had been a member of the Bronze Faction. As such, she did her best to learn their doctrine... and found it a bit severe. She couldn't very well completely turn her back on them, though... so she decided that when the exaltation came, she'd remain an independent. While she waited, she completed her training as a Bureau-worker, and set up a small courier business out of her inherited manse. Eventually her exaltation came, and she took the name "Shining Parcels of Your Heart," after the name of her new business.

Appearance[edit]

Your Heart is still a young lady, only Twenty-six years old now. She has the caramel-colored skin of the High Southern regions of Creation, and the soft spun dark black hair and brown eyes(not counting the yellow stars in them from her exaltation.) She keeps her hair somewhat short, and pinned back into a single small braid. She isn't staggeringly beautiful by any means, but she has a certain charm about her - and an undeniable sense of athleticism. Even amongst Journeys, who are well-known for their athletic figures, she stands out with a refined body made for running. Even before her exaltation, she would spend her time between pandering into relationships and delivering things by running around Yu-Shan until she couldn't anymore. She wears very simple clothes, a loose bodice and a pair of loose, short-cut leggings both in a soft white color. In her day-to-day dealings in Yu-shan, she can usually be found dashing as politely as she manage through the streets, holding something or other in front of her. In the cases that she can't see what's there in front of her, the only warning is usually her sweet-but-urgent voice yelping "Sorry!"

Her manse used to be a simple off-the-road place of rest for travelers of all kinds, but now she has turned it into a routing center of sorts. One room at least has been filled with ledgers of her prodigious work. She only does personally accepted work, so there is no in-box or any packages just laying about. There is a hastily-arranged office in which she fills out her ledgers and does very little else.

Yellow Path (Ride 3, Ess 2 p132) : 2m, Simple. (Speed 6, DV - 2) Lasts for One Journey. One succ leads to 3/4th of travel, three succ is meeting deadline just barely, five succ leads to mystical path that will get you there on time. No matter what.

Glory Path (Ride 3 Ess 2. pg 132) : 8m. Simple. (Speed 6, DV - 2) Obvious, Virtue(Temperance) Five minutes. Charisma+ride. The character's mount moves at +5 yards per success and ignores natural obstacles.

Serendipitous Voyage (Sail 2, Ess 1 p 133) : 3m. Simple dramatic action. Special Duration. Find a ship to your destination.

Life Gets Worse Approach (Thrown 3, Ess 2 p 139) : 3m, Supplemental. Instant. Combo-OK. Obvious. If you hit with the weapon blessed by this charm, it sticks in the victim. As long as it remains there, ANY missed attack in range can be rerolled against the victim.

Willful Weapon Method (Thrown 3, Ess 2 p 138) : 4m, Supplemental. Instant. Combo-OK. Virtue (Temperance). Keep attacking until you hit, different actions, as long as you can see your initial target.

Essence Thorn Practice (Thrown 2, Ess 1 p 139) : 5m, Simple, Combo-OK, Obvious. Creates blade, when thrown, pulls sidereal up to 20yards(player's choice) Range of ess x 20 yards. Has accuracy + essence, no range penalties, and gets +6L. Can't be parried, only dodged.

Unswerving Juggernaut Principle ( Athletics 2, Ess 2 p 153) : 5m, Simple. Indefinite. Obvious. Take off motherfucking running. +5B/+5L soak added, +essence to any rolls required to keep going.
