What's It All About?

The Time of Tumult has reached it's zenith; the Yozis have escaped their prison and marched on Creation with the armies of hell lead by their Green Sun Princes, while the scions of the Underworld scourge life from every corner of the world, and even the hidden chosen of Autocthon have emerged to sweep Creation barren to restore their lost primordial god. Amidst this the Realm turned in upon it's self, subverted by greed and Malfean influence, all while the Sidereals watch in horror as Heaven has gone completely awry.


Then the unthinkable happened; the roof of the Jade Pleasure Dome exploded outward and the Incarnae emerged, resolute and determined to win. Heaven's gates buckled and crashed inwards from hell's onslaught and their primordial masters raced forward to seal their demise. It was then that the Unconquered Sun blunted their advance, though not with force or power, but rather a challenge.


His proposition was that the Chosen would determine the fate of Creation with their own hands. A contest of strength, skill and virtue would be held all across the world and it's winner would decide who would rule as they see fit for all time.


Reluctantly, they accepted.


Across the skies of Creation the world was humbled by the heavenly cacophony of the Gods, the primordials both damned and undying, their intent made clear. Those that fought against the terms laid by the Creators and Masters of the world were silenced by their will maifest in fire from the sky.


Now all sides are now drawn into the Grand Tournament. The participants have been given bodies forged for glorious combat and their battles shown all across the skies of Creation. Denizens both living, dead, and those from the beyond, watch and wait for the victory ( or doom ) to come.


Will all of the world chant your name in victory? Or will it be the howling of demons and the dead that greet your ears when it is taken by Creation's enemies?

Warstrider Chargen


(Creation)
All characters start with 10 artifact dots to build their Warstrider with in addition to their normal number of Background dots -- no more then 10 dots may be spent on the Warstrider it's self ( additional dots may be spent on armaments ). Common, Scout, Noble and Juggernaut chassis may be taken at chargen.


(Health Levels)
Warstriders have additional health levels, as listed below. When a Warstrider loses all of it's Health Levels it may suffer considerable damage and have it's performance hindered.

  • Scout: 2x0-
  • Common: 3x0-
  • Noble: 4x0-
  • Juggernaut: 5x0-


(Attunement)
Warstriders have an adjusted attunement costs, as listed below.

  • Scout: 4
  • Common: 6
  • Noble: 8
  • Juggernaut: 10


(Miscellaneous)
Warstriders do not count as armor for the purposes of Martial Arts styles. Spells, Charms, etc that bypass armor soak or hardness still direct damage to the Warstrider's health levels before damaging the occupant. All Exalted ( not just Solars ) may take or purchase Invincible Armor Invocation at chargen without meeting it's prerequisites.


Additional Rules

  • May start with up to 4 combos containing no more then two charms. May add more Charms to them with XP later.
  • Useful Stamina: Your stamina now grants extra health levels. Stamina 1 grants an Incap Health Level, 2 grants a -4 Health Level, 3 grants a -2 Health Level, 4 grants a -1 Health Level, and 5 grants a -0 Health Level. All levels also grant the ones below them.
  • Three die stunts are only applicable if everyone playing agrees it's a three-die stunt.
  • No training times.
  • Custom charms are accepted but must receive ST approval beforehand.
