Backgrounds

• Artifact 3 - Ghost-Seeing Spectacles - Simone wears a pair of stylish spectacles made from a pretty steel, with a prismatic gleam to them. He doesn't tell anyone that they allow him to see the flow of essence around him, preferring to say while they are an artifact, all they do is correct his poor vision. (Should he be without his glasses, he gets nasty headaches, being so used to them now.) (Gives AESS, no commitment needed.)

• Artifact 3 - Nodethread Brush - This delicate brush is made of an elegant dark wood, inlaid with the same metal as his glasses, with very durable, snow-white bristles. Simone found the artifact in his hand soon after his Exaltation, finding it in a node within the Network. The Nodethread Brush acts as a set of perfect tools, giving +3 to all Crafting attempts related to Air, and the ability to fire bullets of ink at his enemies. The brush 'reloads' itself and has the stats of a skycutter. It costs four motes to attune.

• Connections 2 - The Art Scene - It's a small world, especially with the internet around. Simone can find a lot of people to crash with, all over, because of his art.

• Connections 1 - The Occult Scene - A few people have heard about the artist with a paintbrush that, while he can't make his art into reality, he can use it as a form of magic in and of itself.

• Connections 3 - Gods - Funny what happens when you pay attention to patterns. Simone has made quite a few friends in the time the divine has returned, mainly because Friends are always a good thing. :V

• Celestial Manse 1 - Butterfly Opal, Air 1 - This manse in Heaven was apparently once Simone's in the First Age. He doesn't talk about it and just wears the hearthstone. This opal seems half black and half white, and flickers as if insect wings flutter within it. The owner of this hearthstone is able to alter the appearance and something of the effects of Death of Obsidian Butterflies, changing it from deadly glass into a different elemental hazard such as small puddles of acid or tiny fields of electricity. It also makes for protection against the environment created by that specific spell. Much like the Gem of Visitations, another hearthstone made to alter a single spell, people consider this stone something of a waste.

• Artifact 1 - Starmetal HS Amulet - The pretty wire-cage on a black ribbon matches the other adornments Simone wears.
