Ash has long pale ash white hair, down to almost her waist almost always tied in a braid. If one were to remove the hair from it's braid, it would have a wavy feel to it, like a sheet of water; from being in a braid too long. She hates having it like this though, and prefers to keep it braided. Her eyes are a deep red, and they have been since she was born; in a North-East shadowland. Her skin is just as pale as her hair.

- Flitting Shadow Form (Dodge 3, Ess 1): 1m, Reflexive (Step 2), Combo-OK, Instant. It allows the Exalt to ignore all penalties that apply to her Dodge DV when resolving that attack. Her Dodge DV is still 0 against an undodgeable attack, but she takes no further penalties.
- Flickering Wisp Technique (Dodge 4, Ess 2): 3m, Reflexive (Step 2), Combo-OK, Obvious, Instant. The Exalt invokes this Charm in response to an attack. The attack must not be unexpected. This Charm is a dodge that perfectly defends against the attack—even if the attack is undodgeable. This Charm does not function when a Exalt’s actions are contrary to his Motivation or negative intimacies.
- Uncanny Impulse Evasion (Dodge 3, Ess 1): 1 Resonance, Reflexive (Step 2), Combo-OK, Mirror (Reflex Sidestep Technique; Exalted, p. 227), Instant. Tapping into these instincts adds a point of Resonance to the deathknight’s total but allows her to defend normally with her Dodge DV or (in a Combo) other Dodge based defenses.
Integrity

This Charm protects the character from any Shaping effect that directly alters her mind, body, spirit or traits. This includes instantaneous Shaping effects and any new alterations caused by long-term Shaping effects. This Charm also protects the character from any undodgeable, unblockable Shaping attacks.
Larceny
- Unjust Appropriation Method (Larceny 2, Ess 1) 3m: Supplemental, Combo-OK, Mirror (Flawless Pickpocketing Technique; Exalted, p. 228), Instant. This Charm guarantees success on the pickpocketing roll. If another Charm contests this effect, add the character’s Essence in automatic successes to the (Dexterity + Larceny) roll to oppose the other Charm. In addition, characters using ordinary senses cannot spot the theft with Awareness. Even players of characters with inhuman sensory acuity—such as a spider feeling for the vibrations in its web while a character attempts to steal its larder—have a +4 difficulty penalty on the opposed roll to catch the character in the act.
Martial Arts
Laughing Wounds
- Sensuous Torment (MA 2, Ess 2): 1m; Reflexive, Combo-OK, Instant. This Charm may be activated whenever the character takes damage. For every health level she suffers so gladly, she regains a number of motes equal to her Essence (or half that number, if the damage is bashing).
- Kiss of the Whip (MA 3, Ess 2) 2m; Supplemental, Combo-OK, Stackable, Instant.On a successful attack, the character may add an extra -1 to her target’s wound penalty for the rest of the scene. Kiss of the Whip can be used more than once per target, but the cumulative addition to wound penalty can never rise above an amount equal to the martial artist’s Martial Arts score. Therefore, an Abyssal with Martial Arts 5 whose target was at a -2 wound penalty already could not inflict a greater total wound penalty than -7. Because she is accustomed to her own methods, the character cannot use this Charm on herself.
- Laughing Wounds Form (MA 4, Ess 2) 5m; Simple, Form Type, Obvious, One scene. When he is injured, his wound penalty is reversed. Instead of subtracting, it adds a number of dice equal to the penalty to every combat-related roll his player attempts, to a maximum bonus equal to his Essence score. Even Virtue bonuses are affected, so the player adds those same bonus dice to the number of dice he receives when he channels Willpower through his Conviction, Temperance and Valor. (He must subtract them from any Compassion bonuses, though.) The Laughing Wounds Style martial artist also adds his Martial Arts to his raw bashing damage.

Stealth
- Second Stealth Excellency (Stealth 1, Ess 1) 2m: Reflexive (Step 1 Attacker, Step 2 Defender), Combo-OK, Instant. The exalt evokes this charm when making a roll based on the relevant Ability. The Exalt then spends up to (Attribute + Ability) in motes. This Charm adds one success to a roll for every two motes spent. Therefore, if a Solar had a (Dexterity + Melee) total of 8, he could purchase up to four successes with the Second Excellency. Any magical effects that hinge on the character buying dice will then react as if the character had just bought eight (Dexterity + Melee) dice.
- Shadow-Cloak Technique (Stealth 3, Ess 1) Permanent, Mirror (Easily Overlooked Presence Method; Exalted, p. 230), Permanent. Purchasing this Charm gives Abyssals an artificial +3 specialty “In Darkness” for Stealth, though this bonus is not cumulative with normal specialties. Furthermore, whenever this artificial specialty applies to an action, Shadow Cloak Technique also doubles all bonus dice and/or successes received from stunts or Stealth Excellencies, although Excellency use remains capped by the usual limits for bonuses added by Charms.
