Background[edit]

Walks-Like-Thunder grew up in Chiaroscuro, a son of a family that wasn't rich, but rarely wanted for anything they couldn't afford. His greatest ambition was to one day become a mage of vast power, and so every day was spent attempting to harness sorcerous power, but his attempts were many and his successes rare. One day, impatience overcame him and he worked from dawn till dusk to create his greatest work to date: A demon-summoning circle. Finally finishing it, a rift appeared in the dry air and one of the abominations of Malfeas stepped forth. An imperious and demanding Walks instantly attempted to command it, and almost lost his head for his trouble, fleeing and hiding, he could only listen as the rampaging creature laid waste to his family's home before hunting for him.

Intent on correcting his mistake, he ran into the city and grabbed a blade from the first person he found, not being a competent warrior, but nonetheless knowing what would be right to do, even if it might cost him his life. The battle that followed was long and exhausting, Walks landed few blows, but his nimble feet kept him alive, though he became bruised and battered, for long enough to wear the creature down, and eventually it was banished. As soon as the work was done, the young man collapsed and new nothing until he awoke in the custody of a Lunar pack who informed him of his new destiny: That of an Exalt of Luna.

Realizing he had no other choice, he consented to being tattooed to avoid chimerism, but only if they would, in exchange, help him master sorcery, for his dream was still with him.

In his adventures since that young age, he has met his Solar Mate and recovered a weapon that once belonged to his incarnation in the First Age. Though he's matured rapidly since he Exalted, he's still got something of the fiery teen who almost wrecked his home town in him.

Inventory[edit]

Thundering Essence (Very Small Essence Cannon) Speed: 4, Acc. +1, Dam. 10B Piercing, Rate 1, Range 50, Cost 1/3 (Attune/Fire) Thundering Essence was a weapon crafted for Walks-Like-Thunder's First Age incarnation mated to Ten Thousand Thunders by the glorious general. It is a weapon made of almost solid Moonsilver, with a very dark red wooden grip and decorative insets of precious stones. Unfortunately, as any Essence Cannon, it requires periodic maintenance (after every scene in which this is used, it requires recalibration [Repair 1]).
