General info[edit | edit source]

6th Heavy Regiment of Technocrusaders is composed of penitent ex-heretics and fanatical volunteers. Technocrusaders are heavily augmented and fanatically praise Emperor and Omnissiah at same time. They prefer close assault, resolving conflict between face-to-face using combat shotguns with bayonets. 6th Heavy Regiment doesn't have a particular homeworld, due reasons mentioned above. Due their fanaticism to Emperor they are somewhat respected by the Ecclesiarchy. On top of it, 6th Heavy Regiment of Technocrusaders often do dirty and bloody job for the Adeptus Mechanicus, typically when Skitarii deployment is overkill, not available, or the task is unworthy of Skittari deployment. This has lead to even the lowliest of grunts getting a choice of a pair of common augmentations, or a single high quality augmentation.Technocrusaders prefer night operations, leaving their trenches at night to boldly rush under cover of darkness, the enemy's position, flooding narrow trenches with slugs and buckshot and stabbing their foes with bayonets. The Technocrusaders have a regiment rivalry with Mordian Iron Guard, due to "Those overly disciplined pricks not liking gloriously rushing the enemy and going tearing their way through in melee for the Emperor", instead forming neat orderly ranks and opening fire. Similar to theDeath Korps of Krieg, commissars in regiment are needed to command furious technocrusaders to retreat for keeping them away from doing obviously suicidal decisions, and keep them in line, so as to ensure they actually complete the task. On some occasions, in a fit of rage, the Technocrusaders turn their guns upon their own Commissars for not being zealous and loyal to Emperor enough.
