Universal Standard Kit[edit]

Powered Combat Knife,

2 Frag Grenades,

2 Krak Grenades,

Enhanced Micro-Bead - A micro-bead or comm-bead is a short range communication device worn in the ear, this kind is enhanced and good for communication out to about 10 kilometres (depending on weather conditions and intervening terrain). Each fits discreetly in the ear, with better crafted models nearly undetectable upon casual inspection.

Poor Weather Gear,

Rucksack,

Entrenching Tool,

Basic Toolkit,

Mess Kit and Water Canteen,

2 week’s Rations,

Blanket and Sleeping bag,

Rechargeable Lamp Pack - Sturdy and reliable, glow-globes illuminate many an Imperial paveway and cathedral. Most portable ones are roughly the size of a clenched fist and can shine strong, yellowish light a dozen or so metres in width, lasting roughly five hours before their power pack needs recharging or replacing.

Grooming Kit,

Dog Tags,

Imperial Infantryman’s Uplifting Primer,

Powered Carapace Armor - Made up of large rigid plates of armaplas or Ceramite-moulded to fit the bearer, Carapace Armour provides better protection than standard Flak Armour, but is bulky and heavy and really only suited to units certain to be under the heaviest fire, such as assault units or those involved in urban operations. The Carapace Armor used by the Terran is powered and enhances the wearer's strength. This armor fully covers the wearer’s body, and also acts as the uniform. It also has built-in compartment for ammo. Protection Field - Like a refractor field, is a small device which projects a protective energy field around the user. Its effect is to disperse the energy of an incoming shot or blow over the total area of the field. The field, although less reliable than that of a rosarius, can stop even the powerful projectiles such as lascannon and plasma hits, however, it needs to be recharged when it goes down and a sufficiently powerful shot can do this in one attack.

Plasma Rifle - plasma "bolts" fired by these weapons explode on impact and generate the destructive heat of a small sun, and the sheer amount of energy released by the impact of superheated plasma is often enough to completely vaporise the target. This the complete version of the Plasma Gun STC, which is slightly stronger and does not overheat. The design of which is only known to the high-ranking officers of the Terran Legions. Archeotech Laspistol - This weapon is an ancient design of the standard Imperial Laspistol dating from the Dark Age of Technology which has much greater range and power than the common Laspistol. It can be fired more times as it is more efficient and can produce more shots per charge, making it a powerful sidearm in combat.

Terran Pattern Helmet - This is basically a Space marine helmet for normal troops. A Terran's helmet contains most of his armour's combat systems. These include thought-activated comm-augers and audio-filters, targeting reticules and range finders, tactical displays and Auspex-links, and a host of other features. It has a built-in rebreather which contains a respirator to filter out toxins and can be shut off with a thought, drawing instead upon an internal oxygen supply and a Photolense which protect the Terran from dazzling light bursts. They also allow him to see into the infrared and ultraviolet ranges, as well as enabling vision in low-light conditions.

Traditions[edit]

Regimental Marches

Sing it to this tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbBGWR4VL58

Men of Terra:

Men of Terra, march to glory,

Victory is hov'ring o'er ye,

Bright-eyed Emperor stands before ye,

Hear ye not his call?

At your sloth he seems to wonder;

Rend the sluggish bonds asunder,

Let the war-cry's deaf'ning thunder

Every foe appall.

Echoes loudly waking,

Hill and valley shaking;

'Till the sound spreads wide around,

The Traitor's courage breaking;

Your foes on every side assailing,

Forward press with heart unfailing,

'Till the daemons learn with quailing,

Terra ne'er can yield!

Thou, who noble Terra wrongest,

Know that freedom's cause is strongest,

Freedom's courage lasts the longest,

Ending but with death!

See, they now are flying!

Dead are heap'd with dying!

Over might hath triumph'd right,

Our land to foes denying;

Upon their soil we never sought them,

Love of conquest hither brought them,

But this lesson we have taught them,

"Terra ne'er can yield!"

Of this lesson we have taught them,

"Terra ne'er can yield!"
