'''Ivanus Enkomi''' is a [[Chaplain]] of the [[Minotaurs]] and the dude charged with representing the [[Rip and tear|chapter's interests]] in stead of the Chapter Master when dealing with other servants of the Imperium, [[Asterion Moloc|which is probably for the better]].

There isn't much lore about him, but what we have is pretty interesting. As said before, Enkomi is an example of the Minotaurs [[Paranoia|distrust]] of the rest of the Imperium, often being the only form of face-to-helmet interaction other forces of the Imperium will have with the Chapter. And even so, one might not expect to see much exchange beyond the very minimum required to carry out whatever purging in the name of the [[God-Emperor of Mankind|Emperor]] needs to be done, as he is described as an aloof and distant figure in [[Carab Culln]]'s war councils during the [[Badab War]].

Enkomi himsemf is described as having a crimson-tatooed face and red-irised eyes, suggesting [[Feral World|backwater origins]]. This raises a question over the Minotaurs recruitment methods, since their ability to replenish recruits has been theorized to be a result of the [[High Lords of Terra|High Lords]] granting them access to recruits from [[Terra]]. Enkomi's origins could mean that the chapter may also recruit on the worlds it crusades across since it's [[Black Templars|fleet-based]], or that they recruit normally but their aspirants have low [[Gene-seed|rejection rates]] due to their [[Iron Warriors|chimeric]] [[World Eaters|geneseed]].

Given his role as a herald of the chapter, it is only fitting that he has his own personal ride. In his case it's a black-painted ROC pattern [[Storm Eagle]] named the Fortuna Mori.

Enkomi as no extra special rules over the usual buffs of a chaplain, usual rosarius, powerfist, and crozius. No jump pack option since geeDubs seems to be doubling down on WYSIWYG, but his "Crozius Arkanos" has a grenade discharger that doubles the range of his grenades. Frag grenades for mobs, krak grenades for tough targets. Aside from that he boasts an extra attack and an extra wound, compared to normal. Do ask yourself when you take him though... did you really WANT to pay 23 points to gain a wound, an attack, and to double the range of the otherwise completely normal frag and krak grenades? Yes, beacuse the greek hemet and the cape alone are worth the 23 points, and beacause you get the model when you buy Moloc, so might as well use it.

As of the most recent Space Marine Codex, Enkomi is now able to chant 2 litanies.

'''Casan Sabius''' is the current Lord Regent of the [[Red Scorpions]] chapter, a position roughly equivalent to a provisional [[Chapter Master]] (Lord Commander). He assumed command after [[Carab Culln]] fell in combat during the Indomnitus Crusade against a Tyrannid bioform known as "The great Beast of [[Sarum]]", and was believed lost to the Imperium. Like his predecessor, sabius has a thing for leading his chapter from the front lines, seeking to slay the most dangerous enemies in order to inspire his battle brothers to achieve great deeds trough example. As far as the Red Scorpions are concerned he is considered a formidable strategist and swordsman (having already saved the [[Chapter]] on one occassion) , and is a worthy successor to Culln.

Although his brothers are happy with having him in charge, Sabius himself is not. He secretly blames himself for the loss of Culln, and his zeal and fury are said to be caused by a desire to [[Dark Angels|atone for his mistakes]]. This feeling is rooted so deeply inside him that Sabius believes his role as leader of the Scorpions to be nothing more than a stage of transition for the chapter until a new Lord Commander can be appointed. As anyone slightly familiar with Red Scorpion behavior might expect, all of this pushes the Lord Regent to strive for genetic purity in a quest that is borderline fanatical even by his chapter's already insane standarts. In battle he is often accompanied by [[Sirae Karagon]], the chapter's guardian of purity and standard bearer of the Vexilla Imperialis, who acts as a close advisor and pragmatic foil to Sabius's fervor.

Model-wise he perfectly embodies the theme of his chapter: [[Traitor Legion Loyalists|slightly unusual things]] arranged in such a manner that they're almost indistinguishable from it's [[Codex|vanilla]] counterparts. His artificer armor seems to be mostly MKIV pattern, but has elements of Corvus armor mixed in in there, and his bog-standart bolt pistol is Tigrus-pattern for some reason. If there is something remarkable about him, it's that his extensive cybernetics make him look like a [[Wolfenstein]] villain, which doesn't help to dispel the meme about Red scorpions being space Nazis.

Sabius is the Red Scorpions chapter master in all but name: he has the statline, and the standart 6" reroll to hit aura that other chapter masters have. His unique rule "Purity of Aspect, Action and Intent" gives all the models of a {{W40kKeyword|RED SCORPIONS}} unit within 6" an additional attack as long as Casan Sabius himself manages to wound something in that fight phase first. Lead by example. As for wargear, he has artificer armor, an iron halo, frag and krak grenades, the Blade of the Scorpion which is a +1S D3D relic power sword that doubles it's strength value when targetting a {{W40kKeyword|MONSTER}} or {{W40kKeyword|VEHICLE}}, and a bolt pistol.

Sabius is the last non-primaris marine release to have recieved rules for 8th edition.

'''Ivanus Enkomi''' is a Contemptor [[Dreadnought]] of the [[Minotaurs]].

And you might ask: "what is so special about a contemptor Dread"? Well, for starters his [[Forge World]] model is an absolute beauty. But aside from that? This thing is one big walking bag of [[Dark Angels|secrets]].

The Guardian of the Daedalos Krata has served at the forefront of a dozen campaigns in the last centuries, including many of questionable honor such as the boarding of a [[Lamenters]] strike cruiser during the battle of [[Badab War|Optera]], and a friendly fire incident during the Bifrost uprising. The incident in question ocurred when guardsmen of the Bifrost Huscarl infantry under the brevet command of a [[Viper Legion]] sergeant mistakenly opened fire on the Dreadnought, which at the time was [[Khorne|covered in gore]]. [[Butthurt|Angered]], the dreadnought rampaged trough the imperial lines killing 37 huscarls as well as the Viper Legion marine, and ripping in half a [[Leman Russ Battle Tank]] that attempted to stop him. His carnage only stopped when he recieved a command from his [[Asterion Moloc|Chapter Master]] in orbit, telling him to stay put.

Outsiders have noted that despite his power and battlefield record, Aiakos isn't treated in the same way as in most [[Space Marine]] chapters. Instead of being admired and respected, the battle-brothers of the Minotaurs Chapter treat him with cold indiference. Aiakos is not alone in this however, as many other dreadnoughts in the chapter are treated the same way. this had led the rest of the Imperials to ponder on the meaning of the "Hecaton" title given to Aiakos by his Chapter. According to the [[fluff]] "Hecaton" is an ancient Terran word meaning "legion" or "giant", but can also be interpreted as "enslaved monster". Interstingly enough, only the Contemptor-pattern dreads have the "Hecaton" title, suggesting that it is only the ones entombed within those relics that the Minotaurs dislike. Very ungrateful of them considering that most chapters consider themselves lucky to even have one of these, while the Minotaurs themselves have at least one per company (having fielded 10 of them during the Orphean War againt the [[Maynarkh Dynasty]]). Minotaurs are [[Eldrad|dicks]].

Instead of being put in stasis awaiting his next awakening like most dreadnoughts, Aiakos remains in a state of sleepless vigil guarding the doors of the "Daedalos Krata" (The Heavy Assault Carrier that the Minotaurs use as [[Fortress-Monastery]]). Given that the Daedalos Krata is described as "maze-like", it is safe to assume that the dreadnought is [[Awesome|left to roam the corridors of the ship]] like the [[Minotaur|beast]] of [[Mythology|legend]] in his Labyrinth.

An HQ choice for your army, but can't be your Warlord. Sporting 13 wounds, a 2+/4++ save, and the ability to ignore wounds on a 6+, he and Moloc apparently both believe that defense is the best offense. Not that either is lacking in that regard. He sports a heavy plasma cannon with all the pain that entails as well as the standard Dreadnought combat weapon. "Groundstrike" allows him to immediately inflict mortal wounds on a unit in 1" of him if he charged. Also worth mentioning is that, as a {{W40kKeyword|RELIC}}, he gives access to the Relic of Ancient Glory stratagem. All this will set you back in points, beating out even Huron for sheer points, but he sure kicks ass. Just let him stay around Moloc for the sweet sweet re-rolls and unleash the moo-moo.
