Stand Still Stay Silent RPG is a setting primarily inspired by the Webcomic of the same name. 90 years have passed since the mysterious 'rash virus' wiped out nearly all of humanity, leaving hideous beasts, trolls, and giants to wander the earth. Despite this grim reality the game does not focus on basic survival or scrounging. Humanity is not only surviving, it is thriving in the niches it can. International trade has sprouted up again, with people being able to freely travel the world in search of work and exchange of ideals. The aim of the game is on adventure, with a light or even comedic tone contrasted with moments of tense action and thrilling horror. The Silent World is ripe for plundering, but its numerous bounty is contrasted by the infinite possibilities for danger.

The current progress of the project: All but dead.
This is called a draft because everything in this entire section is subject to change. This is a an outline to work with, a skeleton to build around.
Attributes
Physical Attributes
Bulk
----
The raw power of the human body, your ability to suffer pain, and the amount of strain you can place on your muscles. It represents strength, vitality, and endurance.

Integrity
----
Represents a characters resistance to disease, infection, injury, starvation, and blood loss. This also represents the amount of abuse you can take, both lethal and stress related. You keep track of two separate kinds of damage, and if either goes over your threshold, that is bad news. Stress(Physical stress) damage goes over Threshold it will cause someone to became battered, which lowers all their stats and doubles the amount of time to complete tasks. Lethal damage extending over Threshold leads to immediate black out. If either type of damage doubles the amount you have in your Threshold, your character dies.

Adroitness
----
How fast you can move, how flexible you are, and how quickly you can think on your feet. Adroitness represents a persons agility and dexterity.

Mental Attributes
Knowledge
----
The ability to learn and retain information. The essential statistic for keeping retention of information. High knowledge means both extremely great long term and short term memory.

Savvy
----
How well you understand other humans, how well you can use that to lever your own position over people. Savvy does not translate into good looks. People who are just naturally sociable will be Savvy as well as people who know how to manipulate others.

Experience
----
A person's aptitude for making good decisions off the cuff, and being able to learn from past mistakes. A person with high experience is wise and thoughtful.

Will
----
The amount of psychological trauma someone can endure. Works like Threshold, except there is only one type of damage, Tragedy. Tragedy damage comes about from living through horror or personal loss. If Tragedy equals Will, it causes the person to develop a Quirk(To be discussed later). If Tragedy doubles Will, this person is no longer able to be part of the game. The player will decide what ultimately happens to the person, if they choose to retire for good or simply end life itself.

Age Groups
The Setting
The Nordic peoples have united under the Nordic Council which allows close cooperation and trade to circulate among the many settlements. The capital of this new world is Reykjavik, in the most populous country of Iceland.

Finland
No where else is the Silent World more prevalent as a danger than in Suomi(Finland). Along the shores of the many waterways and lakes of this mystical land lie hundreds of tiny settlements. Some contain only a few families, others hundreds of Finns. The largest of these settlements and capital is the military base on the island of Keuruu.

Norway
The proud, friendly, and blessed Norwegians live in a desolate land of mountains and wilderness.

Norway was able to escape the ravages as the Illness from a great series of rainstorms in the Aurlandfjord, protecting Aurland for a time. The rains passed, winter came, but the Norwegians did stay idle. Preparations were made to defend from what radio broadcasts named 'Monsters'. Years have passed since then, with the Norwegians aggressively expanding up along their depopulated coast to secure resources and food. Food is rare in Norway, which is what brought the first diplomats to Iceland. The agreement which has stood for decades between the two peoples is still practiced today, an equal exchange of supplies to allow both societies to live in harmony and luxury.

Each Summer more Creatures journey up the coastline in search of food. The Norwegian military is comprised of Volunteer Servicemen(normally called just Volunteers) which are led by a Veteran appointed to a unit by a presiding Officer. Officers are men who have served for ten years, elected to the status by a council of their peers. A unit is made up of anywhere from five to fifteen men, having an assortment of Cleansers, Hunters, and Mages. These units fight on both land and sea against the Creatures.

The Norwegian military do not take their role lightly. Every man in service knows that if they let up for even a moment, their entire country could be lost. Aurland is made up of the three towns of Flåm, Aurlandsfjorden, and Aurlandsvangen. If an outbreak were to occur in any of these towns, it would mean more than eighty percent of the Norwegian population would be lost. Aurland is also in the southernmost part of current Norway, meaning it is the most in danger when Creatures come over the mountains or sneak into the fjords from the coast.
The Gods
Norse (relative order of importance):
* Odin - All-father, god of wisdom, magic, and victory
Odin is the the son of the two jætter Bestla and Borr and the brother of Vile and Ve. He is hailed as the king of all gods and the father of creation. His domains include seidr, rune magic, wisdom, war, royalty and the art of the skalds. In cooperation with his brothers, he killed the first jætte, Ymer, and created the world from his corpse. Odin also created Man from a treetrunk as part of a competition with Vile and Ve. Before Odin became all-knowing, he sacrificed an eye and hung from the World Tree Yggdrasil for nine days with a spear-wound in his guts. He had then earned the right to drink from Mimirs Well and became keeper of all wisdom in the world. Each day his ravens Hugin and Munin travel the world, and each night they return to tell him what they have seen. Each night, his wolves Gere and Freke travel the world and each day they return to tell him what they have seen. From his tower Lidskjalv, Odin can see anywhere in the world, and he is the owner of the eight-legged horse Sleipner, the Dwarven spear Gungnir and the Dwarven arm-ring Draupnir.
Odin is the husband of Frigg, though Thor is the child of him and Jord. Odins children include Balder, Höder, Hermod, Skjold, Vale and Vidar.
* Freyja - Fertility goddess, goddess of defending the hearth and home. (Civilization)
Freya arrived to Asgard with her brother Frey and her father Njord as a part of the peace treaty between Asgard and Vanaheim. She brought the magical arts of Seidr from the Vanir to the Asir and taught Odin how to perform the rituals. She is a goddess of love, of fertility, of magic, of the female gender and of war. Her aspect of war revolves around protecting the homestead. Her husband is Od, a figure which is rumored to actually be Odin in disguise.
* Freyr - Fertility god, god of planting and prosperity. (Civilization)
Freyr came to Asgard with Freya and Njord and is a Vanir god of fertility, harvest and agriculture. He is the owner of the Dwarven ship Skidbladner, which can sail on land and be folded into a piece of cloth and the hog Gyldenbørste, which can run in the air and on land faster than any horse. He was an extremely important god to the farmers of old, and he was the one you would sacrifice to if you wanted your crop to grow strong.
* Ullr - God of hunting, winter, and games. (Survival)
Not much is known about the archer god Ullr, for he is an extremely old deity, his followers tracing back to before the Iron Age. He is hailed as inventor of the sled, and may have married the jætte Skadi after she left her husband Njord. He is the first son of Sif and the stepson of Thor, seen as both Asir and Vanir according to who you ask. He is sometimes known as the Lord of Winter, and is revered by hunters and survivalists.
* Mímir/Kvasir/Vör - God/dess of Wisdom. (Science)
* Baldr - God of rebirth, beauty, innocence, and peace. (Civilization)
Baldr is known as the most beautiful of all the Asir. He is the favorite son of Odin and Frigg, and his death plays a large role in the prophecy of Ragnarok, where he is killed by a mistletoe arrow by his brother, Høder. He is not only a lantern of beauty, but also of kindness and fairness, and is universally loved by the gods of Asgard, except for the jealous Loki. He is largely a passive god, and not much reverance is paid to him by believers.
* Thor - God of thunder (fire) and battle. (Cleansers)
Thor is the second-most powerful of the male Asir, second only to Odin. He is a warrior-god of strength and raw power, and his job in Asgard as well as Midgard is protecting them from all evil, including the jætter from Udgard, frost giants from Niflheim, fire giants from Muspelheim and other ancient monsters, like the Jormungand and Fenris. Thor wields the mighty dwarven hammer Mjolnir and a pair of iron gloves by the name of Larngreiper that granted him supernatural strength. Thors name was very rarely used in the context of war, and as a warrior-god his domain was single combat rather than the strategy and discipline needed for warfare. He is the son of Odin and Fjörgunn, which might mean that he was pulled directly from the Earth by his father.
* Frigg - Goddess of marriage, motherhood, foresight, and iron. (Civilization)
Frigg is the most powerful of the female Asir, the wife of Odin and the queen of Asgard. Her knowledge of the future is at least as great as that of her husband, but in contrast to him she never tells of what she knows. She is the daughter of Fjörgunn and is often described as the mother of all things.
* Vidarr - God of forests, silence, and revenge. (Cleansers, survival)
Not much is known about Vidarr the Silent, for he keeps to himself in his house in the forest and spends all of his time training for Ragnarok. He is almost as strong as his brother Thor, and he carries a boot which is sewn from all of the leather scraps shoemakers throw away. According to the prophecy of Ragnarok, he is to break the jaw of Fenris with his foot and kill it with a blow from his sword.
* Tyr - God of the sky, discipline, honor and warfare. (Cleansers)
Tyr the One-Armed is an honorable god known for his wisdom in warfare and his bravery. He is the son of the Jætte Hymir, but is fully accepted as a god of Asgard. His right hand was bitten of by the wolf Fenris as the Asir bound it with the magical chain Gleipner.
* Dagr - God of daytime. (Cleansers, civilization)
* Njörðr - God of the sailors, wealth, wind, and fishermen. (Cleansers, survival, civilization)
Njord was brought to Asgard as a part of the peace treaty between the Asir and the Vanir. He is the father of Frey and Freya and the husband of Skadi. Sailors would sacrifice to him for the promise of safe fare, and fishermen for the promise of a bountiful catch.
* Sif - Goddess of harvest. (Civilization)
Sif is a Vanir brought to Asgard as part of the peace treaty between the two. She is the wife of Thor and is said to have the most beautiful hair in all of Asgard. As most of the other Vanir, she is tied to fertility, harvest and agriculture.

Finn (no order):
* Perkele - god of thunder and the sky
Called Ukko or Äijä or Äijö because his true name is an invocation of the highest order. He is the god of the sky, weather, good harvests, and thunder. He is the wielder of Ukonvasara, a hammer he uses to hurl thunderbolts at his enemies. It is possible he is also Thor wearing another guise. Ukonkivi in Lake Inari in the Lapland is sacred to Ukko, a place of power.
* Tapio - god of the forest
Tapio is the husband of Mielikki, the father of Annikki, Tellervo, Nyyrikki, and Tuulikki. He has a beard of lichen and eyebrows of moss and is the guardian of the forest.
* Mielikki - goddess of the forest
Wife to Tapio, Mielikki is a goddess of the forest's bounty, small game, nuts, and berries. She is also a skillful healer and lends her herbal expertise to humans who ask her.
* Nyyrikki - god of hunting
* Tuulikki - goddess of animals
* Vellamo - goddess of the sea, lakes, storms
Wife of Ahti, Vellamo has insured the safe passage of Finns traveling the inner waterways. Perhaps also Vedenemo.
* Väinämöinen - god of chants, songs, music, and lore
Son of Kave, brother to Ilmarinen, Väinämöinen is the divine bard, the teller of tales and the reciter of the poems. He is the hero of the Finnish national epic, the Kalevala. His voice is said to possess a magic of its own. He is the patron of those who adventure in the service of the Finnish people.
* Tursas - god of war
Tursas is the Finnish god of war, the one who lives on the brink, revered and feared, for he also brings havoc to ill-prepared sailors. He may also be the great sea monster Iku-Turso or possibly Tyr.
* Kuu - moon goddess
* Kave - god of time
Kave keeps count and sets cadence that the other gods may go about their tasks in an orderly manner. He is the elder god, once ruler of the sky. Father to Väinämöinen. Perhaps also Raako.
* Ahti - sort of a sea god, more of a fisherman's god
* Ilmarinen - god of crafts, the great smith
The Eternal Hammerer and forger of the sky's vault. Väinämöinen sends Ilmarinen to Louhi in Pohjola to craft the Sampo in exchange for Louhi's daughter's hand in marriage. When Ilmarinen finishes the Sampo Louhi's daughter refuses to leave her native land and Ilmarinen must return home alone. Ilmarinen has several other misadventures in love and may be a very romantic god incapable of expressing himself except through his forge work.
* Äkräs - god of fertility and plants
Has a particular fondness for turnips, beans, peas, cabbage, flax, and hemp. All staples of survival in Finland.
* Pekko - god of beer and crops
* Sampsa Pellervoinen - harvest god
* Tuoni - death itself
* Loviatar - Tuoni's daughter, pestilence
* Vammatar - Tuoni's daughter, pain and misfortune
* Kipu-Tyttö - Tuoni's daughter
* Kivutar - Tuoni's daughter

Not necessarily gods:
* Antero Vipunen - giant with secret knowledge of magic
* Otso - the great bear spirit
* Saunatonttu - the avatar of saunas
* Näkki - spirit of bridges and wells
Spiteful and cruel, he will pull children into the depths if they tempt him by staring into the reflective surface of the water and touching it.
* Surma - a large dog-like beast who guards the gates of Tuonela (the underworld), may be Fenrir
* Ajatar - the evil that lurks in forests
* Akka - sort of Ukko's opposite, maybe his wife?
* Louhi - hostess of the underworld (possibly Loviatar)

The Creatures
The Illness and the Dangers of the Silent World,
By Skald Jorgen Jóhannesson.

We people blessed to have survived in this world by the Gods' mercy still face countless challenges from the Creatures which plague civilization's borders. We people born of Iceland are truly the most gifted of all mankind to never live in fear of their invasion. The Creatures of the Silent World come in many shapes and forms, yet they still can be easily identified and organized into three categories.

The Beasts
----
Easily the most prevalent of the Creatures, the Beasts are the mutated mammals which have succumbed to the Illness. Possessing only a primal lust for blood and feast, they congregate in many hives and nests only venturing out to feed. Beasts can be solitary hunters or great throngs of similar Creatures. The Beasts maintain their former shape the most out of any other type of Creature.

Quite easy to dispatch by even conventional means as the uniform shape means only one brain and heart - though this is not always the case -, but Beasts are feared for being carriers of the Illness. A suitable amount of Beasts can dispatch border guards before the nearest settlement can be notified, leading to them reaching the settlement and contaminating those not immune. This in almost all recorded cases leads to the destruction of the settlement.

The Trolls
----
Humans which have befallen a fate worse than death. It is theorized by many Skalds that these are people who insulted the Gods by worshiping only one god, but no proof to this has been presented thus far. Trolls are the opposite of Beasts in several ways, as no two trolls look alike. During the Summer, trolls who happen to meet each other mingle and mix. Combining limbs and organs to create a new, more durable and deadly Creature. These transformation mostly takes place during the late months of Summer however, and can last the entirety of Winter.

What makes Trolls truly dangerous is their intelligence. They understand us, and mimic us. It has been shown that Trolls call for help to pull inexperienced Scouts to suffer a horrible fate. Since Humans are all that Trolls are made up of, those without immunity should be warned. If you are taken, you will be integrated into the Troll itself, as many studies from Norway have shown.

Because of the excess of vital organs, bullets seem to have no effect as the Troll can suffer immense amounts of physical damage before succumbing to death. This is why Trolls should be treated with the utmost caution, and never doubted for a moment. They rely on out thinking and overpowering people to kill, or worse, integrate them. A Troll's patterns of behavior can be studied, and traps can be laid. Trolls have regular patterns where people can anticipate their next move, which the Norwegians have excelled at learning. A Troll which breaks normal patterns is in a desperate need of sustenance, or new parts to acquire. These are extremely dangerous, as they have both intelligence and unpredictability.

The Giants
----
In the rare cases found of Trolls, they appear to be the combination of Beasts and Trolls. Whole packs of Beasts and several Troll bodies can be incorporated into a Giant. These have been documented during the Danes attempt to retake their mainland. There is no documentation of any such Creatures being exterminated. If you encounter a Giant, do not run or scream for help. Stand still, and stay silent. It might go away.

Magic
The Reawakened Magic of the Norse

After the rash illness destroyed the structure of civilisation, the remaining Norse population found themselves alone in a world that was constantly trying to kill them. But as time went by and they survived the continuous onslaught of the Creatures, an idea was hatched in the minds of the Nordic people: Our gods are still here, and they're protecting us.

Slowly, the ancient Norse mythologies were rediscovered, and both the Finnish and the Scandinavian pantheon were worshipped for ensuring the survival of their chosen people. Traditions that were long forgotten were awakened and practiced as a part of daily life, some mundane while others were wondrous. The long-buried practice of magic was given back to the Nordic people.
Today, 90 years after the disaster, magic is practiced in almost all corners of the North.

In Iceland, the ways of Seidr and Galdrastafur are practiced, while in Finland, the nature spirits of old have given the people the power over nature itself, the ways of Runo.

Icelandic Magic
Icelandic mages are all trained at the the Academy of Seiður in Reykjavik. Because of their long-standing alliance, Norwegians can also train at the academy. If you are educated there, your profession is Mage, and you are proficient in both Seidr and Galdrastafur. These Mages' powers are drawn from the Norse gods Odin and Freya, both gods of war, of knowledge and of love. The magic of the Icelandic Mages is mainly used for protective spells, charms and most importantly receiving prophetic visions and supernatural foresight. What follows is a description of the two schools of magic used by the Icelanders.

Seidr

Seidr or Seiður is the ancient ritualistic magic of the Vanir. According to mythos, the Vanir Freya brought it to Asgard from her homelands of Vanaheim when her, her brother Frey and their father Nord were given to the Asir as part of a peace treaty between the two divine nations. Odin the Alfather convinced Freya to teach him the ways of Seidr, even though the magic was traditionally reserved for women. Later, Loke the Trickster spied on Freya as she conducted her rituals and learned some of it as well.

In ancient times, Seidr was mainly practiced by the wise women of Norse tribes. Some men learned it, but they were seen as androgynous and stripped of their manhood for indulging in the practice.

In modern times most Icelandic Mages are female, though men are fully permitted to be educated at the Academy in Reykjavik.
The practices of Seidr is based on the belief that through a trance, a person can will her soul to leave her body and perform different tasks, like making livestock sick or scaring away evil spirits. It once consisted of many different rituals, but today it has been largely stripped down to the most important ability of its practitioners: The prophetic visions received through dreams. Experienced Mages are able to go into a trance to search for knowledge of the future. They are also granted a supernatural foresight which allows them to know when danger is ahead and the like.

Galdrastafur

The runic magic of the Icelanders is the result of an assimiliation between the Icelandic art of Galdrastafur (or spellstaves) and the traditional rune-magic used by the Norse and the gods alike. A magical rune is created when an object is inscribed with a prayer, asking the gods for a favor. For example, a Mage could inscribe a Galdr (or spell) into the hilt of a weapon, asking Odin to let it always strike true.

Traditionally, runes were used by the ancient Norse for all sorts of prayers, and by the gods for invoking magical effects.
A ship would be inscribed with a rune asking Nord to grant it safe fare; a shield would be inscribed with a rune asking Tyr or Odin to never let it break beneath the weight of enemies; and a field would have an inscribed pole standing in it, asking Frey to never let the crops whither.
Any student of the Academy in Reykjavik is able to inscribe a certain number of Galdrastafur.
The strength of the rune depends on the skill of the Mage, and whether it is inscribed in wood, stone or just drawn with chalk.

Strike True

This rune is usually carved in the hilt of a weapon or inscribed in the shell casing of a bullet. It is a prayer to Odin asking for your weapon to always strike its target in his name.

Resist

A prayer to Thor asking for his strength in keeping an object undamaged. It can be inscribed in anything from a shield to body armor, from a knot to an engine. Some mages are known to have inscribed the rune in their own bodies, though the effects of this are untested.

Quicken

A very old rune, usually inscribed in the soles of a courier or scouts' shoes to make him even lighter on his feet. It is a prayer to Loki, asking for his aid in escaping your enemy.

Hide/Ward

Another prayer to Loki, this rune is carved in a stave and placed in the laces of a boot to reduce the chance of discovery when hiding. Otherwise, it can be carved in trees surrounding a campsite and help keep it from being discovered by malicious spirits.

Plot Hooks and Random Encounters
>An old man with a horse pulling a gutted car or truck converted into a wagon, following the old roads and looking for civilization to trade with. It's a mystery how he's survived as his only defense is a homemade rifle that looks like it would fall apart if it bumped anything. He doesn't speak your language and only points or tries to trade goods.

>A scouting team well beyond their range. They've lost some members and want to pressgang your group, at gunpoint if need be, into assisting them in taking down a particularly nasty troll. They won't say what they're doing this far out.

>The remains of a viking funeral, washed up on the shore. Some of his gear survived the fire...

>a weak radio signal begging for help in a nearby old world town. It's actually a clever troll.

>A pack of cats just hanging out in the woods. They will lead you to a safe place if you feed them and watch over you while you sleep. They will be gone in the morning.

>The ruined remains of some kind of military base that isn't on your map. It looks like whoever occupied it was making an attempt at harnessing or taming the creatures for unknown purposes. From the spent bullet casings and burn marks everywhere, it looks like it all went wrong. The bullet casings may even be relatively recent.

>A small village in the middle of nowhere who's residents believe themselves to be the only survivors and ruled by a tyrant/cult leader like individual. Your arrival and tales of civilization upsets everything and all hell breaks loose. If something isn't done, the village will collapse and be destroyed and "reclaimed" within a week.

>A non-hostile troll that just watches from a distance and follows you for unknown reasons.

>An elaborate cold war era VIP bunker. It's full of pre-silence treasure and horrors alike.

>Cat Scratch Fever - Scouts have reported seeing what look like cats mutated by the illness in the woods at night. Are these rumors true, or is a scout's imagination playing tricks on him?

>Skalding Hot News - A Danish skald publishes what he claims to be a pre-Silence history book, but many of his colleagues cast doubts on the veracity of the document.

>You Sank My Battleship - A troll-infested battleship is discovered floating in the middle of the ocean. Some say that it should be destroyed, but others believe that if the trolls are exterminated, the ship can be cleansed and used once more.

>Clash of the Titans - Norwegian scouting parties, tracking the paths of two wandering giants, realize that at their current headings, the two giants will cross paths. If the giants meet and fuse together, they will pose a massive threat to settlements all along the coast.

>Ahab and his catch - A crazed old man is looking for a crew to take down a sea monster which he swears has people still alive in it.

>Grandma's delivery - A woman in a red hood approaches you and asks you to deliver some cookies to her ol' grandma in the woods. apparently the old woman built herself a minor fort in her younger days.

>Sweet dreams (cont on gandma's delivery) - The old woman offers you to stay for "fika"(snacks, basically), putting out the cookies and some tea. You wake up in an unknown cave, whispers coming from the dark, stripped of all but a torch and your underwear.

>Last light (cont on sweet dreams) - Your torch is running out and the cave just keeps going. The sounds in the dark gets closer with it. At least you found your gear.
Get out.

>Extraction duty - You're going into the city with a group of scouts for this mission. A division of cleansers went down towards northern Stockholm to start pre-work on the planned cleansing in the area, but we've lost all contact.

Alexandri of Rosskar was the Primarch of the Fifteenth Legion; the Silver Cataphracts, known for their dour attitudes and utter lack of pride. The tactics of Alexandri were highly controversial, but his was the hand that allowed Terra to be saved by the Void Angels and the Steel Marshals. His potential to seize power in the shattered Imperium led to his assassination by the upper echelons of his Legion and by his own brother, Gaspard Lumey.

History
Youth
Looking back I now know history is much more the product of mayhem than of conspiracy. I never intended to become King, yet I am.

(Sayings of Rosskar IV, pg. 14)

In the ancient gene-laboratories of the Emperor, Primordial Entities cast his sons adrift across space. Only Hektor was raised alongside his Father, while the others were sent to far-flung planets. Alexandri found himself sent to a remote, insular planet of Rosskar. Ancient Rosskar was divided along its three continents into techno-tyrannical Kingdoms. Alexandri landed upon Takuat, the largest and poorest of these states. His pod came across the Northern Expanse, a truly massive stretch of forest populated by the aggressive xeno-foliage and fauna the ice-world is known for. The Frontiersmen were a mix of lumberjack and huntsman, an order of middle-class freemen keeping the Expanse from overruning all of Takuat. Due to the prompting of Lady Wisna, nicknamed Mistress of the North for her nearly undisputed control of Frontiersmen lodges, the organization set out for Alexandri's pod. The child rescued would be raised by Lady Wisna. Young Alexandri showed aptitude unlike any other pupil, growing up strong at an alarming rate. Raised alongside Wisna's daughter of similar years, Snježana, the difference couldn't be more palpable. At age twelve, he joined his first frontier patrol, distinguishing himself in combat while still mastering his studies above Snježana's curriculum. At fifteen, he had mastered every form of mathematical system available to him and could recite Rosskan history from memory.

Alexandri was a servant of Bogumil the Cautious, the King of Takuat. From the time of the first Kingdoms, each realm had fought one another for primacy over Rosskar. Thanks to Alexandri's promising capabilities, the King empowered him to advance the Kingdom against its rivals. Part of this was revolutionizing the serf-levy system, creating a standing army. Due to the restriction on technology, this force was kept at a basic level similar to inferior techno-barbarian hordes on Terra around the same time. Where Alexandri excelled was in administration and logistical ability allowing the fielding of armies more numerous than ever believed possible. Mikael Okriva rose to prominence during this time, a serf with no prospects who joined in Alexandri's landmark Officer Appointment Program. This was an adult educational project that uplifted previously completely illiterate individuals to comparable standing to the nobility. Mikael presented the first opportunity for Alexandri's aptitude for picking, uplifting, and nurturing talent in his subordinates. Many years after Mikael's death, Alexandri regarded him fondly, even remarking that he was his first trusted friend. Though the Program sent shockwaves through Rosskan society for threatening the social order, the deprived Bogumil welcomed any advantage he could gain.

Eventually through Alexandri's efforts, the Mad King Davolimin of Crazkhan and the Ice-Dame Kalina of Xivan were defeated. With armies routed at last, Alexandri moved to annex the cities and the surrounding provinces to incorporate them into Takuat, the now undisputed single state ruling Rosskar. Davolimin's declining mental health accelerated this process greatly, but Xivan stood defiant in the face of the Takuatan troops. Kalina was the first opponent that checked Alexandri's advance, forcing the fledgling Primarch to rework his tactics to think beyond battles to achieve victory. Starting a devastating new logistical-crippling war strategy, Kalina was eventually eliminated by her own Vityaz simply to save themselves. In both of the conquered territories, the Primarch set about rebuilding the area and instituting reform. He fostered those deprived underneath the rule of the previous monarchs. Uplifting and enabling capable minds where he saw them, always rewarding loyalty and ingenuity. Alexandri was named Warden of the Realm for his efforts, a title the Primarch was content with. Rosskar knew peace, entering a never before witnessed golden age. Trusting Bogumil's rule and those he had placed to see the reign prosper, Alexandri focused his efforts on expanding the living space of Rosskar by expanding the frontier.

Privately, Alexandri was never satisfied with the feudal system. Though the free-men class had grown exceedingly thanks to his efforts, millions were still held in serfdom. However, Alexandri fiercely believed in his ideals of loyalty to an ultimate authority. Bogumil was a shrewd politician who appeased his subjects and kept a complex web of alliances to regulate peace. One of these was a marriage to Snježana. Alexandri's adoptive sister immediately whispered all manner of lies into Bogumil's head. The King became convinced Alexandri was building an army in secret, sending out an army to apprehend him for a mock trial. However, the army sent itself was more loyal to the Primarch than their liege. A quick coup d'etat ended the matter before a bloody civil war undid all that Alexandri strived to build. Though Bogumil was drawn and quartered, Snježana was allowed to end the rest of her days in house arrest. Alexandri knew this fate was worse than death for the ambitious woman.

After this, Alexandri abolished the system of servitude effectively ending the slavery of the lower classes. Feudalism followed after, with the lands being overturned to the Kingship. A short civil war did ensue, with the outnumbered Vityaz only keeping a slight edge due to reliquaries of ancient weaponry. This period ended when Alexandri offered clemency to any who surrendered to him. The remaining Vityaz were increasingly marginalized, but kept certain privileges of wealth and standing. Under Alexandri, Rosskar flourished. The cities expanded all because of a centralized, standardized administration with capable minds handpicked by the Primarch. Zlasta Curimin founded the Committee for Living, or commonly referred to simply as the Committee. Zlasta's organization incorporated the the old Frontiersmen lodge system into an expanded, concentrated effort to reduce the voracious forests and the fauna therein into manageable sectors. The King of Rosskar was sensitive to the changes Zlasta instituted, but his nostalgia for his early years among the Frontiersmen faded thanks to her results. Alexandri plucked the genius Andrien Duško who used the now opened technological vaults to rediscover the art of voidcraft. For the first time, Alexandri's intellect was matched, and even succeeded by a mortal in Andrien. This inspired no small part of admiration in the Primarch. In only twenty years after King Alexandri Ibirien the First's reign, the Rosskan population had soared by five hundred percent and were beginning colonization of the stars.

The Silver Cataphract
Rosskar is Kuzgeta. Kuzgeta is Rosskan. Rosskan is Kuzgetan.

-Common Rosskan saying to explain the relationship between Rosskar and its colonies.

Great Crusade
I am asked, how could you do this? What drove you to surrender so readily, so willingly, when you had fought so hard before? These people are bold to question me like this, but heed my wisdom when I say I held no sadness over the loss of my Kingship.

A crown is only a hat that lets the snow in.

(Quote dated at 996.M30, after being questioned by his brother Primarch Inferox)

At first the Emperor's coming was met with glee and celebration. Alexandri himself was glad that there was a man he could call an equal, someone to ease the weight of ruling off his shoulders. He had no idea what the Emperor's actual position was, more akin to Alexandri's youthful days as a unifying warlord. This made Alexandri make the fateful remark that he'd be happy being nothing more than a Regent, managing the Imperium in the Emperor's Name, not his own. This brought a smile to his Father's face. A knowing smile.

This happiness did not last for long however. Upon learning of the Covens existence, the Emperor immediately acted without consulting his son in any capacity. Time was short, the decision had to be made without hesitation. The Custodes were quick to expunge every trace of the societies from Rosskar. When it turned out that some were being hidden from the Emperor by the Secret Police, more purges continued this time in the hearts of Rosskar's cities. A great many deaths were caused as the Silent Sisters joined the fray, to null the effect of the witches' sorceries.

Alexandri would never forgive his Father for this act, but he understood the necessity of accepting it. Rising up to oppose him was pointless, he was a being above him. Disappoint and failure were two things strong in Alexandri's mind. This time would be no different.

I cast my hand out, and the greatest warriors ever to cross the void leap to obey. But this is not true power. No, the leadership my father gives us all is our real strength.

Never once did the Silver Cataphracts refuse the call to arms when summoned. Due to the massive population of Rosskar the Legion's ranks swelled to the brim, and then spilled over. It was never clear if the Alexandri even once told the truth of the actual size of his Legion. To further add to this blatant growth of Astartes numbers, millions of regular human soldiers were introduced as part of the Legion as the Rosskar Strelky. The Strelky served as a valuable source of support during the Crusades, fighting as an auxiliary force to the Cataphracts main operations.

When not helping the Emperor or his fellow Primarchs however, Alexandri was eager to expand the realms of the Imperium on his own. Using envoys and trusted functionaries, a small portion of his Legion would act in the Emperor's name but obviously make sure certain worlds favored Rosskar as their destination of tithe payment. He searched for worlds either with unrealized industrial potential or low population, high resource worlds. A huge warmachine was forged form the tiny fiefdom he claimed to help fund his ever expanding Legion and auxiliary force. When rumors of a rising amount of Librarians in the Cataphracts came to light, along with reports of witches serving in the auxiliary, it became clear that Alexandri had great ambitions that might upset the balance of order in the Imperium. Still, even if Alexandri broke regulations, he was always loyal to humanity, understanding the Imperium's way was the best way. The Imperial Truth just needed, bending.

His actions created great controversy as sometimes Alexandri would made ridiculous deals to secure peaceful surrender, and others he would be mercilessly swift in destroying whole planets. At a glance his decisions might be decided upon whim, but in fact it was all carefully calculated in his mind. In his mind, all that mattered was occupying planets with the least amount of loss. That is, overall loss. If a planet needed to be taken by brute force, it would be. If a planet could be talked down and negotiated with, it would. Alexandri's liberal approach to dealing with Xenos made some question his methods even more. But a few demonstrations of his disregard for alien life made it clear to all this was not another Aubrey the Grey.

Even though the loyalty of Alexandri was at times questioned, the Emperor knew the nature of his son from the few meetings they had. He was loyal, for he understood a civil war would bring too much needless ruin. And that the Emperor was the right being to unite humanity, just as Alexandri was the right man to unite Rosskar.

The Heresy
Woe to Mankind this day. Pity those who have died on Terra, for it was all in vain. The enemy has achieved the ultimate victory. The sacrifices we made merely ensured they could not enjoy it.

(Attributed to Alexandri after the Emperor's Enthronement.)

Post-Heresy
The Silver Cataphracts would have followed Alexandri into hell, not out of admiration, but out of the logic that Alexandri would only go into hell only if it was the best option. Now? But now he was being driven by dreams and fancies, not by reality. An attempt to seize power would only bring further death. With the blessing of Gaspard Lumey, one of the last remaining Primarchs, First Captain Sergei eliminated Alexandri subtly. The assassination was made to look as if the age old Rosskan rebels had finally got him. After living through the trials of his own world's conquest, and everything in between during to the end of the Scouring, Alexandri of Rosskar died from a coward's bullet.

Unremembered, unnoticed the Primarch went. A short golden age after the Scouring came, when the Traitor Legions were too busy tearing themselves apart and the numerous threats to arrive later had not yet come. No one wanted to press for details, fearing what might come if they looked for them. Gaspard, even if he did not desire it, had brought peace through his sole rule.

Personality
Appearance
Regal is the best word to describe Alexandri. A huge, flowing brown beard that goes down the front of Alexandri's power armour even in combat. Rosskar's unique sun and the planet's own society put an immense stress on the Primarch. He has aged whereas his own brothers have not. Dark circles have burrowed in deep into his eye sockets and many lines have formed on his face. Even specks of grey and white have touched his beard. All this only adds to his appearance as the iron-fisted ruler of Rosskar. He stands slightly taller than most other Primarchs, but not by much. His Terminator plate is adorned with silver-livery and symbols of the many Vityaz Houses crushed by his hand. Stylistic images of Rosskan Hounds form on the front of his armor, the emblem of his Legion and his own personal crest.
The Rosskan Strelky were the Legionary Auxilia of the Silver Cataphracts, the Fifteenth Space Marine Legion. Unlike their counterparts in the Imperial Army, the Strelky were a uniform outfit with standardized equipment. Initially established to defend Rosskar and surrounding worlds, the Strelky would come to encapsulate Rosskan ruthlessness evident in their harsh culture.

History
A massive surplus of equipment remained after the unification of the Rosskan worlds into the Imperial Fold. Rosskar, the ice gem of this collection of planets was facing a rising population crisis. Industry intended to deal with the issue was diverted to outfitting the rapidly expanding Silver Cataphracts Legion. To deal with this Alexandri outfitted the many of criminals in his state. However issues arose with a large core of fresh recruits began to mutate the culture of the Strelky. Alexandri realized this was a boon, and not a curse. Here the attitudes of the Strelky would be set. It was no longer a volunteer army, but a sentence.

Drawing forth from the discipline officers of the Silver Cataphracts, a core of Discipline Enforcers was trained. The Cataphracts had little to do while their strength grew, as Alexandri's ambitious plans would leave them retraining for some time anyways. One Marine would train ten officers, who would train ten more officers, until there was thousands of Discipline Enforcers. These men largely had little to do with the actual combat deployments of the Strelky. Instead they would focus primarily on retraining the new formations in a different style. Life was cheap, and it was time to spend it.

Other formations of the Imperial Army would fight alongside the Cataphracts, but more was expected from the Rosskan's least favorite sons. Due to their rigorous training, a fatalistic sense of self combined with utter dread of their superiors would drive them to feats of heroism not often seen in the days of the early Great Crusade. The Strelky would be entrusted of tasks thought impossible for normal humans to surmount. Due to a combination of handpicked leadership on the part of Alexandri, revolutionary tactics, and this diehard attitude would allow the Strelky to garner an infamous reputation as steadfast organization.

If not too disciplined. Despite their willingness to stand tall against uncountable odds, the Strelky normally devolved the moment the laser fire ended. This would lead to raiding, looting, and pillaging on human worlds. On Xenos planets, there didn't even need to be an order given to commit wholesale genocide. The Strelky would be begging for it already. Acts of savagery after combat were encouraged by officers, as a way to let the troops have an outlet for their aggression rather than have to punish it earlier.

Age of Konstantyn
Konstantyn Ibirien

Konstantyn was born in 872.M30, becoming administrator-aide to Supreme Commander of the Strelky at age thirteen. When he came to the age of thirty-five, he journeyed the Imperium for twenty years meeting with multiple figures of the Great Crusade. This would lead him to learn of the many Astartes Legions and Imperial Army regiments. He become a Commander of Rosskar twelve years after assuming his rank of Ensign in the Strelky. On the eve of 973.M30, exactly one hundred and one years after his birth, the current Supreme Commander died. Konstantyn immediately assumed command with the full backing of more than half the Strelky and the entirety of the Silver Cataphracts Legion. Never had such a assumption of command been with so much backing.

Great Crusade
The new Supreme Commander acted fast to increase his reach across the ranks of the Strelky. He reformed the training systems to be even more taxing in order to produce higher quality soldiers. The system of specialized regiments was put in place at this time as well. Unlike other Imperial Army regiments, Strelky regiments would have dedicated roles. Support, Artillery, Armour, Light Infantry, Heavy Infantry, Mechanized Infantry. His reworking of the entire battle philosophy led to an initial period of unease among the ranks as effectiveness began to decline. Within a decade however, they rose back up to eventually climb much higher than they were before.

On the world of Gelmni I, five Divisions of the Strelky were deployed to soften up the forces of the Human-Xenos Hybrid defenders. Thanks to the efforts of these forces, the Gelmnin abominations were stunned by their ferocity. The Strelky were able to secure several hives with their assault before the Silver Cataphracts even made planetfall. Reinforcements came from the Legion via deep strike, landing directly on the heads of the Gelmin. Panic ensued in the enemy ranks immediately as a result. The planet was placed under the care of several noteworthy commanders from the assaulting formations, who helped build it into a fortress world that would later supply untold amounts of battle ready troops to the Cataphracts.

Heresy
Great Scouring
Famous Formations and Members
Army Group 22, the "Blistering Fists".

This formation had the distinction of working closely with the Sons of Fire Space Marine Legion. For this reason, they become known as the 'Blistered'. Their Commander Karlimo Tuschev would lead from the frontlines wearing Vityaz patterned power armor. On more than one occasion, he would become burned by his own artillery fire for his love of getting in close as possible with the enemy. The Blistering Fists suffered more casualties than any other Army Group, but due to their connection with the Sons would be the most orderly of all Strelky formations. During the Great Scouring, they would use this intimate knowledge of the 4th Legion to great use.
Military Doctrine
Towards the end of the Great Crusade, and throughout the Hektor Heresy, the Strelky adopted the concept of specialized regimental structure. Some would be dedicated to fielding tanks crewed by the best men to offer for that role. Others would have engineers, who meditated day and night on explosives, construction, and maintenance. The idea was to create a functioning army with several unique parts that could not operate independent of one another but were stronger as a whole. Rather than having to gather up five regiments to field a multitude of guns, an artillery regiment would have the same amount if not more of batteries.

This was invaluable during the Hektor Heresy, as other Imperial Army formations could not withstand the well organized formations coming to bear against them. A result of the specialization led even equal exchanges of armour or infantry ending up on the Strelky's side. The Cataphracts benefited immensely from the modular regimental system, calling up assistance often for specific actions which required the approach offered by the practice. Light Infantry would be able to scout easily, or skirmish. Engineering companies could build defenses or tear down enemy fortifications in short order.

Field Armament
Vityaz Pattern Power Armor

In Rosskar's past, before Alexandri came to power the Vityaz were a noble elite who ruled with an iron first over the populace of Rosskar. With Alexandri's ascension, the aristocracy was gradually integrated into society at large. The remnants of their influence remain still with suits of their prestigious power armor. Officers in the Strelky can sometimes to be seen wearing these ornate suits into battle, gilded with finery and still as deadly when they were first forged in the Dark Age of Technology. The Tech-Priests of Kyuw have produce replacement parts based on recreations of the basic Vityaz design. This has allowed its continued use in the field perpetually, so long as the suit is never fully lost.

Rosskan-pattern Lasgun

The Strelky used a wide variety of weaponry throughout their existence, owing much to their bloated size greatly beyond any one world's means to sufficiently arm. Much less even a Sector's. Due to equipment shortages, any material that could be seized after a battle usually was immediately jumped upon. Some standardization did exist in the form of the Rosskan-pattern lasgun though. This weapon was designed to be capable of firing powerful bolts, only being able to expend ten shots per magazine charge. Other versions of the weapon were known to have the same output with a bulkier magazine, that could hold up to thirty shots. It was prone to explosion at random times for seemingly no reason, leading for most soldiers to fear. It was dubbed the 'Crackle' by troops for the sound it made upon explosion.

It was believed through concentrated, concerted fire with stronger than normal lasgun bolts the Strelky would be capable through sheer numbers able to take foes comparable to Astartes. This prediction did not always hold true, but it certainly gave them an edge when they were forced to combat actual Space Marines.

Training
The Rosskan Strelky for lack of a better term, is a slave army. It is constituted primarily of prisoners from the various worlds of the Kuzgeta Sector. To bring such a diverse, and dangerous population to heel they are first broken. Long periods of time are spent making sure that 'Batches' of ten Strelky recruits are isolated from the rest of the world. These Batches are finally 'Hatched' when the Discipline Master has determined little remains of the original person in each member of the Batch. If after six months there is no considerable progress made with a Batch towards this goal, it is purged.

Upon a Hatching, the newly formed Strelky are admitted into the harsh atmosphere of their regiment. Here the guiding hand of the Discipline Officers is removed, who had been previously guiding their lives with rigid schedules and rules. Now in this confusing environment, they are faced with apathy at every turn by their fellow comrades. This too is part of the Strelky training, as it slowly erodes at the sense of self even more. Before even their first deployment, the Strelky recruits feel increasingly isolated, and alone, save for their Batchmates. However, after surviving their first battle these Recruits are accepted as Privates. Or, as their comrades will call them, Droogs.

The Droog is the complete Strelky, the final product. The Droog is expected to form the backbone of the regiment, follow orders to the letter, and report on any suspicious activity to Discipline Masters. These men and women are usually what is propagandized about the Strelky, as they are the fatalistic heart that keeps a regiment from retreating even when facing certain death.

Strelky Discipline Master
Tasked with both overseeing morale and loyalty, the Discipline Masters of the Strelky were drawn up from the Secret Police of Rosskar as well as those sent from Terra. Adept at mind breaking techniques and torture, the Masters used their skills to break down recruits before building them back up again as soldiers. The denial of food was a simple trick for any slight, but all punishments focused upon dehumanizing a subject. They would also be teacher, training them in firearms, accuracy, drills, and squad combat. Any sign of dissent was punished ridiculously, and when one who could not be broken was sensed, ruthlessly executed. The majority of fresh recruits did not have the iron resolve to deny the Discipline Masters, falling victim to their cruel methods like lambs to a butcher.

Culture
The Rosskan Strelky is formed from parts of military tradition and penal battalions. It is not a prisoner army, yet is operated akin to one. One may volunteer into the Strelky, but he will not be treated any different from a man sentenced into service. By the necessity of the Strelky, the individual is eliminated to serve the unit. The Strelky are very blunt on average possessing no subtly to themselves. They are largely realists, not falling into optimism or pessimism. Many have become reclusive in personality, introverted save for those few members of the regiment they can regard as friends. Strelky friendships are few and far between, but are usually formed between the most capable veterans. A sense of community is strong in the Strelky however, but these are usually rarely intimate.

The Strelky are expected by their officers to have several hobbies and pursuits. To most, this is training but others have been known to have skills ranging from woodcrafting to poetry. Most in the Strelky become tattoo artists to keep the underground expression of soldiers alive. These men were usually given rations and favors from their fellow soldiers in return for their ink work. To those with the ability and ambition, they normally became tattoo artists.

Tattos
No soldier, from the lowest Recruit to the highest officer, was allowed to wear battle honors. Alexandri despised the use of medals or ribbons, refusing to allow the Strelky to wear any livery at all. The spartan appearance of the Strelky uniform betrays the sophisticated artistry worn on the skin of every member. Since the tattoos were hidden unless their clothing was taken off, the Primarch either did not care or failed to notice the thriving system of symbols and signs in use by the Strelky to denote achievements and social status.

Hollow Teeth - This pattern is a design of the teeth over the lips, creating a partial skull look. This was to denote Strelky known as "Biters", who would use their nails and mouths in combat.

Barbed Wire - This pattern is lines of barbed wire that cover over the dominant forearm. Each spike along the wire represented a year spent in service in the Strelky.

Five Coins - This pattern is five coins, each with a different head of a Rosskan King, with Alexandri at the top. This is normally placed on the shoulders. It represents the crime of counterfeiting or embezzlement.

A Cracked Crown - This pattern is the standard Rosskan crown broken down the middle. This is usually placed on the chest. It represents discontent with Alexandri's rule, and the Imperium.

Squinting Eyes - This pattern is a pair of eyes that are squinting, as if looking at something far away. This is usually placed on the belly. It expresses a soldier's willingness to engage in sexual activity.

Made in Rosskar - This is text normally placed above the thigh. It expresses the current state of the homeworld. The planet name is normally changed depending upon homeworld.

I Will Not Betray - This text is normally placed on the back. It expresses desire to remain true to religious beliefs.

A Laughing Skull - This pattern is placed at the back of the head always. It expresses the desire to refuse any work not necessary or directly ordered of the soldier.

A Bleeding Knife - This pattern is placed anywhere on the body that is visible while in uniform. It represents that this soldier has murdered another Strelky, and is willing to be hired to murder others. Officers tolerate these soldiers, as they can relied upon to silence other voices in a regiment.

Finger Tattoos - This refers to text placed on the skin facing inward on the digits of a hand. The text is usually acronyms, names of loved ones, or nicknames.

Angel Wings - This pattern is a set of feather wings always placed on the back. These note that this soldier has managed to kill an Astartes single-handedly. Variants include only one wing, noting a soldier took part in killing an Astartes.

Bullets - This pattern is a set of Boltgun Shells or Autogun rounds that are arrayed around the neck. It is a statement by the prisoner that only death will set him free.

Most Strelky form attachments to their immediate platoon, not their squad, as the risk of losing your entire squad is too high to invest significantly into emotionally for a soldier.

Each of them most be broken down from what they are, into who they must become. The Strelky are very blunt on average possessing no subtly to themselves. They are largely realists, not falling into optimism or pessimism. Many have become reclusive in personality, introverted save for those few members of the regiment they can regard as friends. Most Strelky form attachments to their immediate platoon, not their squad, as the risk of losing your entire squad is too high to invest significantly into emotionally for a soldier.

(Sayings of Rosskar, Volume IV, 'Alexandri's Words')

Due to the prompting of Lady Wista, nicknamed Mistress of the North for her nearly undisputed control of Frontiersmen lodges, the organization set out for Alexandri's pod. The child rescued would be raised by Lady Wista. Young Alexandri showed aptitude unlike any other pupil, growing up strong. At age twelve, he joined his first frontier patrol.

Mikael Okriva rose to prominence during this time, a serf with no prospects who joined in Alexandri's landmark Officer Appointment Program, an adult educational project that uplifted previously completely illiterate individuals to comparable standing to the nobility. Though this sent shockwaves through Rosskan society, the deprived Bogumil welcomed the efficiency these staff officers provided.

Eventually through Alexandri's efforts, the Mad King Davolimin of Crazkhan and the Ice-Dame Kalina of Xivan were defeated. Armies routed, provinces pacified, and cities annexed into the realm of Takuat, now the Kingdom of Rosskar. Alexandri was named Warden of the Realm for his efforts, content with this title. Retiring to the frontier, Alexandri focused his efforts on expanding the living space of Rosskar. In his mind, he questioned the status quo but would make a move against Bogumil out of loyalty. This sense of propriety was betrayed due to Wisna, now Queen of Rosskar's entries for Bogumil to destroy Alexandri before he returned. The troops sent however came to join Alexandri after warning him. No ensuing war developed, as a quick coup d'etat ended the hostilities. Though Bogumil was drawn and quartered, Wista was allowed to end the rest of her days in house arrest. Alexandri knew this fate was worse than death for the ambitious woman.

After this, Alexandri abolished the system of servitude effectively ending the slavery of the lower classes. Feudalism followed after, with the lands being overturned to the Kingship. A short civil war began, the vastly outnumbered Vityaz only surviving due to reliquaries of aged power armor. This period ended when Alexandri offered clemency to any who surrendered to him. The remaining Vityaz were increasingly marginalized, but kept certain privileges of wealth and standing. Under Alexandri, Rosskar flourished. The cities expanded thanks to the organized administration. Zlasta Curimin founded the Committee for Living, or commonly referred to simply as the Committee. Zlasta's organization incorporated the the old Frontiersmen lodge system into an expanded, concentrated effort to reduce the voracious forests and the fauna therein into manageable sectors. Alexandri plucked the genius Andrien Duško who used the now opened technological vaults to rediscover the art of voidcraft. In only twenty years after King Alexandri Ibirien the First's reign, the Rosskan population had soared by five hundred percent and were beginning colonization of the stars.

Wargear
Alexandry was known to go into battle with weapons and armor! That's right, he didn't fight naked like Lumey.

Xilantai Breath The Xilantai were beasts of myth on Rosskar, massive, not quite living, not quite dead, almost mechanical, not even the mighty Alexandri could kill one. After his father took him under his wing, he asked for a weapon that could conqueror anything, as many a sleepless night were spent contemplating his past failures. S4, AP3, Flamer Template, Haywire, Poison 4+, Rending, Shred.

Sire of Cataphracts- (insert silver caraphract legion elites) may be taken as troop choices.

He's pretty middle of the road. Not terrible in a fight, but primarily focused on buffing his army. Being able to choose different buffs for each slot of your army gives you all kinds of tactical flexibility, and even though he's not a combat monster the same way some primarchs are, he's still going to eat 98% of things in combat.
