Sergals are a very strange species made by a very strange Japanese furry named Trancy Mick (or "Mick39" these days). She gave them a number of nonstandard biological features, including huge ripping "molars" like shark teeth, a pointed, angled snout, breastless females, a raptor-like posture, and most infamously, a tongue-like clitoral hood. 4chan found them and immediately determined its true purpose: '''raping.''' This caught on in 4chan and spread across the internet, causing distress to the original artist. She responded by removing it in subsequent illustrations, and even giving the females breasts, which only made them more furry. Perhaps realizing there was no winning, she gave up and returned them to their original design. She has stated in hilariously broken English that the clit-hood-tongue is used to "guide the penis" (so she can pin a male down and rape them without taking a hand off him, gotta aim the dick you know). Reading her thoughts on this (or any) subject is described as both horrible and strangely fascinating.

Sergals enjoy murder, violence, cannibalism, invoking fear in their enemies, and consensual heterosexual sex in the missionary position for the sole purpose of procreation. The most popular Sergal is General Rain Silves, recognized by her yellow eyes marked with streaks of blood. She eats babies. More recent art of Rain has showed a spiraling descent into madness, drunk with her increasingly powerful and extreme [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thing_(film) shape-shifting abilities.]At this rate, she'll ascend into godhood, like the Lovecraft version of Hercules.

Sergals are a contentious subject, as are all things covered in more hair than a neckbeard. Fa/tg/uys have a love/hate relationship with these creatures. Detractors argue that Sergals are too furry, and that their role of "horrible brutal rape monster" is already filled by gnolls. Such arguments typically collapse into further arguments about whether gnolls, kobolds, dragonborn and even dorfs are also too furry. On quiet nights, the non-troll Sergal thread is created, seeking to create a full set of fluff for them. At the same time, troll threads are about as common but when they occur, they are often spammed and many are created at once. This creates a positive feedback loop, where sergal troll threads are created in an [[Derp|effort]] to [[/b/|counter]] the number of sergal troll threads.

Most of the legitimate Sergal-statting threads have been made and have discussed everything there is to discuss, and the same few anons that made their stats and pages are now working on a [[The Unified Setting for /tg/|Unified Setting]] for /tg/ that is basically a fantasy setting containing a lot of /tg/'s original content as well as helping other races get statted and/or helping fledgeling projects and otherwise [[/tg/ gets shit done|getting shit done]] for /tg/.

Sergals have been statted for D&D 4e, D&D 3.5e, ''GURPS'', and ''Dark Heresy''. Sort-of-recent examples of some of these can be found on this page somewhere maybe. A set of Commissar Sergal pictures exist, expertly crafted for trolling [[Warhammer_40,000|war hams]].

Sergals make effective [[skub]] due to disagreements over their furry/not-furry nature, and are one of the creatures parodied by [[Doobies]], the other being [[Cutebolds]].

The most well-known Sergal on /tg/ apart from Rain is John, the female sergal from [[Joan's Not Entirely Ideal Life|Joanquest]].

Imported from Final Fantasy 9, the Burmecians are a race of Queen-shittingly British rat people living in quiet, determined desperation. There is only one city left on the planet they can call their own, and there, it always rains.

A race of Welsh Corgis that stand upright. They are anthropomorphic in the sense that they talk and act like humans, but they are not given human body proportions and still retain many of the cute mannerisms that real world welsh corgis have, much more dog than man.

The race that parodies most of the other races and the setting in general. Doobies believe that they are the master race, but they are universally despised and are considered quite ugly by the other races. They receive penalties to all their actions, but have ungodly regeneration that makes them very hard to kill.

Holed up in their mighty [[Dwarf Fortress|fortresses]], the dwarves mostly keep to themselves while fighting off Elephants and Carp, when they're not getting distracted by rhesus monkeys.

Occupying a few islands (and a lot of ghettos) they are the only race with access to boom jelly. Goblins have a major hate-on for undead; this is because in ancient times their civilization was cast down by a necro-storm caused by their overuse of necromancy.
