Diggers are the greenhorn Juves of [[Necromunda]]'s [[Ironhead Squat Prospector]] parties. 
==Overview==
Diggers represent the youngest members of the Mining Clan who tag along with their [[Charter Master]]'s crew, hoping to one day rise to the rank of [[Drill-Kyn]] and earn a share of the spoils. Even though most Diggers are into their forties or fifties, they represent the youngest of their kind and are thus not trusted with anything more complex than maintaining an engine or casting a Bolter round. For this reason Diggers are eager to prove themselves, usually through the creation of strange inventions or unorthodox tactics. 

As the newest members of the team, they are equipped with relatively 'cheap and easy to maintain' equipment for the Squats. Cheap in quotations as most Necromundans would view these as expensive noggins. This includes a lighter and less protective [[Imperial Mesh Armour]] and weapons that are usually considered as sidearms such as [[Ironhead Autopistol]]s, [[Ironhead Stub Gun]]s, [[Ironhead Bolt Pistol]]s, and [[Hand Flamer]]s, although they all duel-wield them to compensate. They also carry a belt of explosives including [[Grenades & Explosives#Blasting Charge|Blasting Charges]], [[Grenades & Explosives#Frag Grenade|Frag Grenades]], [[Grenades & Explosives#Krak Grenade|Krak Grenades]], and [[Grenades & Explosives#Smoke Grenade|Smoke Grenades]].

==Crunch==
On Necromunda, Diggers aren't particularly that great when it comes to Juves. Although their strong toughness may seem appealing, their severely lacking in the firepower department as they are only equipped with pistols rather than lugging around twin-linked machineguns of all types. At the very least they can be used to plug in the gaps of any spare credits, but by this point, it is just better to use Drill-Kyns. Their primary skill is '''Shooting''', whilst their secondary is '''Brawn''' and '''Combat'''.
