The '''DX-6 Remora Drone Fighter''' is a [[Tau drone|drone]] flyer used by the [[Tau Empire]].  It's packed full of stealth technology, so it can support [[Stealthsuit]] and [[Tau Pathfinder|Pathfinder]] teams.

Remoras are armed with twin-linked set of long-barrelled [[burst cannon]]s and two [[seeker missile]]s for attacking armored ground targets.  It also comes with a networked [[markerlight]] so that it can launch its own missiles at targets of its own choosing.

They are very lightly armored, but they don't need to take enemy fire on the way to battle.  Instead, they are often carried by a [[Manta]] or a [[Tiger Shark AX-2-2]] (their wings can fold up and over the main "dome"), which will release them from high above the battlefield and control them from afar.  Note that the real-life [[Wikipedia:Remora|Remora]] is a kind of fish that hangs on to larger fish
