'''Arcanaloths''' are perhaps the most well-known and recognizable of the [[Yugoloth]]s, the third of the major [[fiend]] races in [[Planescape]], serving as the Neutral Evil "balancing point" between the [[Demon]]s and the [[Devil]]s. As one of the "Greater" Yugoloth breeds, they are amongst the most powerful members of their fiendish species, roughly equivalent to the demonic [[marilith]]s. They are probably best known on /tg/ for being Planescape [[furry]] bait, since they basically look like humanoid jackals and/or foxes. They were so popular that, whereas most of the Yugoloths were wiped out or demoted to being an unusual subgroup of [[demon]] in the [[World Axis]], they survived by being reinvented as an entirely seperate fiendish race called the [[Raavasta]].
