>Here speaks Kaz'tun War Smith of the 76th Grand Company ground forces under order of my Master Lord Honsou did we finally reached the Craftworld.
> We have the order to eradicate the foul Xenos and collect as many artifacts as we can which means that we can't just bombard them from the orbit because Lord Honsou wants to make a deal with Ahriman who pays handsomly for Xenos crap but we still get some Helldrakes to help us against bombardements from the air.
>We reached the outer perimeter of one of the minor settlements and we haven't faced any opposition typical Eldar tactics they wanna wait till we make our first move but they will see that they will have no chance for a counter attack after we are done.
>We will now proceed towards the settlement and we will flatten it.

>Here speaks Kaz'Tun War Smith of the Iron Warriors 76th Grand Company and I must say im suprised
>We expected the land mines, trip wire traps, hidden turrets and murderholes we used the Meatshields to clear out most of them so that our forces could move unhindered towards the settlement.
>We expected the settlement to be evacuated but we thought they would defend it but there where no soldiers.
>Of course where more traps and turrets that took out even some of our troops and many meatshields but we didn't expect that the settlement itself was the trap.
>We lost a fair bit of troops and bikes and even some Rhinos, Vindicators and Predators in the following plasma explosion when the detachment send in there started to search the place for artifatcs.
>These xenos are creative but I think that this won't get worse if we keep up with these kind of losses can we still reach the main settlement and slaughter them all for this cheeky attempt in tricking us.
>But we are still making good progress and are moving through the plains while more traps are being disarmed via the Meat but we will now rest for the night until I can plan something out with the Captain of our cruiser.
>Maybe we find a way to rip the Xenos heart right out in just one quick strike and we can be done here.

>During the night while I was discussing with the Captain of the "Bitter Iron" how to optimally approach this place in my defacto command center ( it's was a lousy tent with a vox hailer next time will I demand a worker crew to build me a bunker everywhere I go) did I hear the sounds of gunfire, shouting, explosions and several voices in the Vox screaming for support
>When I ran outside was it a scene of pure Chaos
>not the good kind of Chaos mind you
>The whole camp was burning squads of Havocs , Marines and even Terminators firing blindly in the night while Meatshields ran and screamed while burning alive.
>several explosions being set off in the middle of the vehicle pool while the Knight " Hatred for the Weak" is stomping blindly around, smoke covering it's apparently damaged head. while the Decimator is also stomping around searching for a blown off weapon.
> Mutilators and Obliterators started to attack each other and killing themselves and the Meat around in blind rage while in the distance are the agonized screams of destroyed or damaged Helbrutes and Vindicators to be heard.
>It took me 3 hours to calm them down enough so that we could get moving again

>We are being followed by a Recon team of the Eldar who used the night to set up several turrets around us which blindly fired onto our position.
>The Guards who foolishly followed the Eldar either got ripped apart by more traps or where lead far away from the camp for long enough for the Xenos to reach the camp itself.
>They used bombs to either destroy or damage most of our vehicles and even managed to sneak up on the Knight and the Decimator and planted more bombs on them and they set fire to the fuel supply and directed it towards the meatshield resting place
>The Obliterators and Mutilators agitated by this started to attack each other which resulted in more losses
>These damn Xenos are sabotage experts but those dirty tricks will not work against us anymore I figured them out
>They are weak and the defense of the main Settlement relys on bug bite perimeter defenses combined with bombs
>I could repair the Decimator and the Knight to an acceptable level but we need to bring them back to the ship
>and what is also strange is that the Heldrakes are very silent and we haven't heard them in a while

>The jungles are even worse more traps have been set up with even more mines and trip wire bombs and heavy gun turrets in the trees this is a fucking hellhole thanks to the trees being just to thick to just mow down and when we need to flatten a tree are we being ambushed hidden soldiers who hit our backlines.
>Even worse are these decoy ruins that only lead into corridors that seal themself off and are filled with turrets and or flamers.

> All the garrot wires that killed our bike and raptor squads, all the bombs, turrets, traps and cowardly sneak attacks couldn't prevent us from reaching our goal.
The amber towers of this place would be beautiful if I wouldn't despise them so much, it is as if the city was just a natural extension of the natural growth it looks like the work of a true master artists
>And yet will I chrush it in a hail of mortar fire, I will burn it down until it is glass and then will I grab as many bones of these Xenos that i can find and build me a weapon out of them.
>The soulstones i will gift to the Emperors Children just to ruin the afterlife for them for all eternity.

end of day 5 retreat from the Battle
current GC strenght:
30 ( 3 squads of Terminators) rest is unknown
>Kaz'Tun here These damn Xenos towers are Artillery positions all of them they have so many that was like a literal rainfall.
>And when we tried to retreat from the damn firing line appeared a bunch of super heavy vehicles out of the underwood and attacked us too and just everything went wrong 
>HOW COULD THIS BE!
>Most of the meatshields and Marines died in the bombardement and the vehicles and walkers got destroyed by the Xeno Grav Tanks.

Inside a cave system for it was the only place safe from the artillery and tanks but at least do I still have my terminators that will guard me further.

>I made it I don't know how but I made it
>they kept attacking us and leading us into traps and killed all of my guards but I made it
>I reached a dead end when I got rid of the Xenos and I just dug myself through until i hit something extremly hard
>I knew what it was when i saw the strange purple light emitting from that wall
>I finally reached the Yacht and I could finally end this humiliation
>But how could I get inside? I can't dig through it was too thick and I don't know how much time I have till these Xenos will reach me.
>My only option was up and so I dug myself out right next to the Yachts "wall" as an orientation point.
>I dug until I saw a light for the first time for who knows how long.
>I made a small hole and peeked out and saw that it was in the middle of the night and I somehow dug myself out right next to an entry point into the ship
>I waited for any patrols and couldn't spot any so I decded to just run into the ship as fast as I could.
>I was finally inside and I found myself in what appears to be a maintenance corridor of the ship 
>I hastily start searching for any traps until I found trip wires and many, many turrets and yet where they kind of wrong
>Where the other traps all tried to hit something of the size of a humanoid or a tank where these all over the place
>I was worried but not afraid I was close to my goal but I had second thoughts.
>Thoughts about my "goal" I mean I was alone no Honsou to command me around.
>Or some other aspiring champion who would rat me out just to lick his boots to get my position
> I was all alone and could do what I want maybe even take it all?
>While I dodged all of the traps did I notice how masterfully crafted the entire place was

Exploration of Driag-Nahl Pleasure Ship/ Core of the Craftworld
>Here speaks Kaz'Tun and I have now come to a conclusion
>First and foremost: Screw the Iron Warriors
>I would have died either in combat or by some Bastard who would have betrayed me so no loss
>Why do I do that? Because this Ship gives me the means to create my own Warband!
>Second: I will take this Ship
>I have thought about this during my stay on this strange Xeno ship but now im sure
>I have to admit the interrogation with the Xeno soldier was not the first time I have learned from these Xenos history
>If I am correct and the Xeno wasn't lying is this truly a pre Fall Ship of the Eldar Empire!
>But why is it still on this Craftworld? Doesn't matter I will maybe find it out later
>Third: Avoid the Xeno guards and traps and find the control station
>I need 2 things from that place a map and some instructions on how to control and reactivate the Ship
>Once I have both can I go start the ship and get out but not before I have used the weapons on board

Exploration of Driag-Nahl Pleasure Ship/ Core of the Craftworld
>Here speaks Kaz'Tun and this ship is fascinating and yet confusing at once
>The entire interior is an amethyst kind of purple with onyx like black metal plating and doors that are lined with a material similar of gold
>The architecture and plating all look as if they we're hued out of one piece or as if this is all just "grew naturally"
>unlike any human made vessels has this no wires that lie around, no rust, no damages that have been "repaired"
>it was just pristine from what I have seen and yet is this place strange
>hundreds of traps and sensors everywhere doors that have been wielded shut and most rooms contain rows upon rows of armaments
>even replacement traps and something akin to "repair tools" for the turrets I think
>Patrols around every corner that I could avoid.
>Most of them consisting of these "snipers" with camo cloaks that are being lead by a figure in a different coloured cloak
>A bit rare where those with the helmet mounted guns and chainblades but still there where many who guarded this place
>Where they searching for me? I didn't know nor did I care.
>And then there is this pulsing purple light that comes from the walls
>it reminds me of a heartbeat of something big and asleep as if the Ship is in a coma of sorts
>Still I could progress deeper down via a mix of using maintenance tunnels and the ventilation system

>And then there are these "secret passages"? 
>sometimes did I find hidden switches that opened into maybe forgotten tunnels?
>I use the word maybe a lot because I am not sure in some instances what the purpose of these tunnels are

Exploration of Driag-Nahl Pleasure Ship/ Core of the Craftworld
>Here speaks Kaz'Tun and by Perturabos eternal fucking migrane producing obsession for hating Rogal Dorn fuck this shit
>I already though that there would be something awful down here but I didn't think that it would be that bad
>I understand now why the Xenos are guarding this Ship almost as heavily as the outside
>is this what the Xeno meant with " I will perish before I even see the Ships true nature"? Damn Xeno nonsense
>The explanation for my thoughts is simple I got attacked but not by the Xenos nor by some ship internal system
>It was after I descended further down into the ships bowels that I came into a crossway, two ways where sealed
>the third lead back and the way forward was into a hallway with huge quantitys of easily spotted flamer traps
>I decided to go forward and be done with it and almost got roasted on some spots just because of the sheer amount of flamers in there
>And then did I find the "garden deck"?
> the door leading there was destroyed and plants grew into the hallway which explains it's defenses
>I went inside and found a jungle that was similar to the one "outside" except this one looked more "primal"
>The jungle outside wasn't like this it looked as if someone took care of it and refined it with traps everywhere but still pleasent
>But this jungle here reminded me of some of the storys I have heard from that Catachan place only more"Eldar'ish"
>There are huge trees filled with colorfoul and most likely poisonous blossoms but underneath some of them are Gazebos for hundreds of Xenos
>There are lakes filled with a bubbling and fizzing red liquid that are sorrounded by small harbours with little sailboats made of metal
>casual beauty was mixed with strangeness and my curiosity for it lead to me getting ambushed

>I reached a swampy area that was flodded with some kind of black muckus with several trees covered in spikes growing out of the liquid
>some parts where dotted with tiny hills with holes in them filled with "water?" that looked as if they where covered by some sort of fleshy "water lilys"
>I walked on a walkway made out of black smoky glass that was above the swamp but close enough to clearly see the details on the ground
>it went over some of these waterpits where it appeared as if these "lilys" grew so high that it's "vines"? reached the walkway
>I was disgusted and yet curious about this place that I didn't notice one of them to catch my foot and it slammed me into the ground
>I was suprised that something so flimsy could throw me an Astartes in full gear so easily around
>and yet it did several times until I noticed that the "vine" was made up of hundreds of claw like pale fingers that grabbed my ankle
>I wasn't dazed but decided to lay still to trick it and the "lily" then decided to pull me down from the walkway and into the hole underneath
>There I saw it's mouth opening in the middle of the "lily" and it was sickening even for me
>It was all pale flesh even after the mouth opened into a round pit with sword long teeth that started chomping as if it anticipated me
>But what was worse was the fact that inside it where heads embedded into the skin of it's stomach
>not skulls but heads with skin, muscles and black eyes of Eldar staring at me with long pointy teeth chomping as well
>I quickly reacted and aimed my combi melta that I still had to the finger vine and desintegrated it which made the lily roar in pain
>I fell into the muckus but got up and thanks to my power armor could I still run while more vines tried to attack me
> I either dodged them or quickly shot those getting close and I cleared the area in 5 minutes but it was not over. 

>After that did I reach a dense jungle area afterwards which I still deemed dangerous
>I had my combi melta prepared and entered the thick vegetation by clearing it out with my powerfist
>after minutes of just punching giant neon coloured flowers and weak trees out of my way did I reach a clearing
>the clearing itself was sorrounded by trees and many of them riddled with melon sized holes that led deep into the trees
>I could already tell that I had just the worst luck right now
>I smelled the creature before I even heard it and swung my power fist behind me to hit it which smashed whatever it was into a yellow sizzling goo
>The smell was similar to a lasgun battery leaking acid which meant that they would douse me in chemicals to then eat me as a slurry
>my theory was proven correct when I got hit by a spray of yellow acid that ate at my pauldron until it reached the under armour
>I looked in the direction of the spray and was repulsed at what I saw
>hordes of Xeno Skulls all walking on spindly spider legs crawling out of holes everywhere which where still the "normal" size
>other than the ones in the "lilys" where these skinnless but with the essential muscles to move the mouth but they had no eyes in the sockets
>those where replaced by eyestalks that where half a meter tall and had the black Eldar eyes all over them
>underneath them did they carry a blood red meaty sack that was connected to the lower jaw via blood vessels
>fizzing could be heard from it while they moved and I think that it was a stomach or acid sack or maybe both
>worse was that they could climb and they where moving fast towards me from all around the trees sorrounding the small clearing
>I used the underslung bolter on my combi weapon and started to shoot those closest to me
> the weapon worked well in keeping them away by blowing the abominations up and spraying acid to other creatures thanks to the explosion which made them retreat
>but they where still coming

>The horde was still coming and more and more came into spitting range and hit my armour
>one even managed to hit the pauldrons hole and burn my flesh which I thanked in kind with a bolter round
>when that one exploded did I see that tinyer creatures that kind of looked similar and yet unfinished exploded out of the skull inside
>I am still disgusted to my core to think that something like that was even given the function to breed
>But during my fight did I realize that I could not win
>there where too many so I decided to find a way out I searched and found a small gap inside the trees that was big enough and the trees looked weak enough
>I ran for it and and rammed the tree with my powerfist but it didn't break
>I hit it again and again and I could feel how more acid rained down on my armour but after the 6th hit did I finally fell the tree
>I ran as fast as I could out with the horde still behind me following me quickly gaining on me
>I then saw in the middle of the jungles foliage a wall of the ship and followed it until I found a closed door.
>I sprinted as fast as I could and it luckily opened for me and I leaped inside
>come to think of it was I very lucky that there where no traps inside the corridor it lead to but I had no time to think I found a panel for the door and closed it
>I even broke it to seal it shut and I just sat myself down and took a rest to heal, repair my armour and to record this days event.
>I still don't get this ship why are the Eldar still here, did they create these monstrositys?
