Airborne/Void Operations

The Barrow Lords specialize in airborne shock operations. They carefully observe their foe, looking for a weak point. Once this is identified, they attack aggressively, from all sides at once so as to better flank and isolate their enemy. Terminator units appear behind enemy lines, either having been earlier infiltrated or teleported in. The planes fly over, dropping tanks, fire raptors go brrrrrrt, and the whole area lights up as the heavy tanks and infantry move in for the kill. After such a battle, all that is left are piles of enemy dead. Should an enemy then attempt to assault that position, they will find not only stiff resistance from the now dug-in Barrow Lords, but also another attack being launched elsewhere on their lines.

==Legion Tactics==
Drawing from Kadoshim tactics, Barrow Lords are masters of the way of Ul-galgal Ha'Tehom, the Beast in the Deep. Barrow Lords forces may spend days analyzing and stalking their foes, waiting for the perfect moment to strike with overwhelming force.

The Barrow Lords favor mass heavy infantry deployment into melee from transport craft, supplemented by air-dropped support vehicles and airborne fire power. Towards this end, specialized scouting and fire support teams are often deployed in advance, waiting in position and gathering data until the moment to strike comes. Another Legion specialty are assault terminator squads, often equipped with stealth or teleportation, designed to appear suddenly behind enemy lines and wreak havoc. Such formations are favored as they allow heavy weapons to be brought to bear at point blank range.

Their tradition taught that the habitable spaces were far and few and the dangers great. The truth of reality was darkness. But from the void came many things. From it came the screaming daemons that sometimes intruded on ships, but also from it came the gift of navigation and psykers. The dark was a place of danger, but also of opportunity for a wise and worthy warrior, provided they could master the monster within. The Kadoshim did not believe their ancient stories, but they were important none the less. They said that the gods had tried fashioning man, Dagon, the fish man, had made them in the form of terrible beasts, full of a raging hunger and ferocity. The other gods were horrified, and wished to destroy it, but Dagon said that alone among the gods, he and his brother Yam were from the void and knew the terrors that waited there. Man would have to be a monster if it was to survive amongst monsters. However, the Ba'al Hadam (Who was later to be identiified with the god emperor) said that if they were to be worthy of existence, they must be more than monsters, and so clothed humanity in their sacred and fair form. Thus it was that humanity was made. As such, when the Barrow Lords go to war, it is with the inner beast in mind.

A favorite tactic is to drop ships out of warp and glide silently through the darkness, systems powered down, a spread of torpedoes launched in advance. Evading sensors, the ships power up at point blank range, seconds after the torpedoes impact their targets. The fleet bombards, while every concievable aircraft is scrambled. These forces streak towards the ground, dropping landraiders and other heavy tanks along with terminators and breacher marines.

==Legion Doctrine==
Battle brothers treat aircraft with reverence. Being a pilot is an honor, with battle brothers seeing the role not simply as knight and steed, but as embodying the sea-monsters of the ancient myths. Towards this end, aircraft often have eyes and snarling jaws painted on them. Similarly, instead of dreadnoughts, marines are usually interred in an airframe. Chapter tactics focus on combat drops, where heavy infantry and vehicles are deployed from all sides to utterly destroy an enemy. Recruited primarily from voidsmen and heavily influenced by the Guilds of the Kadoshim.

==Appearance==

Sargon looks like a storm god from one of the old stories, wild eyes, flowing, coiled beard. When he is happy, he radiates joy, his eyes light up, and he looks like a jolly giant. When he is angry, the entire room seems to darken, his brows furrow like storm clouds, and he rumbles like thunder. His armor is


==Youth==

Sargon was found by the voidfaring Ben T'si guild of the Kadoshim. He was raised by the tophet of the guild and learned the legends and war songs. While still young, he fought in his first void engagement. The much of the ship was depressurized and he watched his foster-brother suffocate before him.

In the end, Sargon's guild was victorious, and Sargon was called upon to sing the war song of his brother. His brother had died horribly, there was nothing to sing of. So Sargon lied and gave him a glorious death.
