== Getting /fit/ ==
/fit/ is a great resource for any 4chan user who is looking to get into better shape. Trying to lose weight or gain muscle is largely a lonely, solemn experience, and it can quickly become boring. /fit/ is the complete opposite: it's bursting to the brim with people to talk to, it's crass and silly, and every day some new crazy thing is happening there.

The number one reason most people quit an exercise program is because it isn't fun and because you feel like nobody will care if you stop. /fit/ is full of ways to make exercising more fun and people who won't hesitate to shittalk your fat, ugly body until you want to get /fit/ just to prove them wrong.

/fit/ always contains a [[sticky]] that is full of advice for newcomers. You'd have to be blind to miss it, it's the post with the dinosaur running back and forth on it. While a lot of information in the sticky is [[skub|contested]] by many of /fit/'s posters, if you're an absolute beginner to dieting and working out and have no idea where to even start, taking the time to read the whole thing is well worth your effort.
