== /k/, Past, Present, Tomorrow ==
/k/ started as any other board. Intended towards firearms and weapons, it held true for... a bit... And then rapidly slammed off the rails at about holy fuck miles per hour, diving through /d/ briefly before resurfacing. Since then, the board "stabilized" into a fairly [[awesome]] place, with many stories and tales that any fa/tg/uy or /ca/tg/irl would shed a tear at in pride. Of course, nothing good lasts forever, and, well, here's the skub.

/k/ has been somewhat split over the use of generals, the influx of newfags, alongside all the rest of 4chan.
Some see generals as having ruined board culture, others see it as being an overall boon. Further, the influx of new /k/ommandos in training and a significant outflux of old guard /k/ommandos means that there has been some... very civil, very reasoned debate, over the presence of various things.
