==History== In early editions, she was said to have been a bright, beautiful patron of an ascended species and only became a warped and twisted entity as the Kuo-Toa waned in power. Though this might simply be the ramblings of a mad god and her fanatically stupid followers as Blibdoolpoolp refuses to acknowledge that the Kuo-toa were anything less than they already are; claiming that they have always been mighty. Despite her claims of supremacy, Blibdoolpoolp is secretly terrified of competition from the Drow Pantheon, and Sekolah, and the Illithids, who she believes are all out to devour her (which is true) but she is also fantastically afraid of them discovering the ancient secrets of her race (whatever they may be). It may be that Blibdoolpoolp is actually an aspect of the Demon Lord Dagon, who has existed and been worshipped by Kuo-toas since long before Blibdoolpoolp ever came along. Dagon is also at war with Sekolah, marking some points of similarity between Demon Lord and Kuo-toa Deity. Furthermore, Dagon cultists are also attempting to wipe out worship of Blibdoolpoolp; a fight that Blibdoolpoolp appears to be losing, so it may be that her religion is simply a heretical branch of a demon-cult that he wants back. In any case, whether she is a mad-goddess or an independent aspect of another entity, her lack of victories against anyone, whether Dagon, Sekolah, or others puts her at risk of just getting absorbed by one of the other powers. In 5th edition, it's been suggested that Blibdoolpoolp was probably first created by a mad Kuo-toa finding a statue of a woman with the head and arms broken off, replacing them with the appropriate parts from a giant lobster, and madly believing its creation was a god, which spread like wildfire through the race. This is because making up fictitious gods as a result of their insanity is one of the defining "quirks" of the kuo-toa in 5e.
