==Overview==
As mentioned above, the Butchers are the leaders of the Corpse Grinder cults. They are some of the best close combat fighters on Necromunda as they can just [[RIP AND TEAR]] their way through everyone's [[anal circumference|assholes]]. These dollar-store [[Jakhals]] are so good they can even best the most ferocious fighters from [[House Goliath]], so make sure that you tool them up and get them stuck in as quickly as possible and let'em rip.

Due to their seniority, Butchers wear and carry the best equipment the cult can offer from the Corpse Guild. They wear some form of heavy mail armour, which behaves a bit like goddamn ''[[Carapace Armour]]'' and carry every single brutal CQC weapon you can think of. This includes [[Chainsword]]s, [[Chainaxe]]s, [[Chain Weapon#Chain Cleaver|Chain Cleavers]], [[Chain Weapon#Heavy Chain Cleaver|Heavy Chain Cleavers]], [[Basic Close Combat Weapons#Boning Sword|Boning Swords]], [[Chain Weapon#Butcher's Cleavers|Butcher's Cleavers]], [[Chain Weapon#Chain Glaive|Chain Glaives]], both [[Basic Close Combat Weapons#Combat Knife|Fighting and Flensing Knives]], [[Basic Close Combat Weapons#Axe|Axes]], [[Miscellaneous Weapons#Heavy Rock Cutter|Heavy Rock Cutters]], and a [[Miscellaneous Weapons#Rotary Flensing Saw|Rotary Flensing Saw]]. Despite their preference for glorious melee, they are not completely helpless in ranged combat, as they can also carry [[Hand Flamer]]s, [[Autopistol]]s, [[Flamer#Flamer|Flamers]], [[Heavy Flamer]]s and a [[Harpoon Launcher]]. They can also take [[Grenades & Explosives#Frag Grenade|Frags]] and [[Grenades & Explosives#Krak Grenade|Krak Grenades]] for some added range oomph and wear some sort of [[Carapace Armour|plated carapace armour]] for protection.
