==Overview==

Mobile Cathedrals as aforementioned, are the greatest land vehicles used by the forces of the Ecclesiarchy. Heavily armoured, those engines are propulsed by tracks, articulated limbs or Archeotech grav repulsors.

Those Cathedrals are equipped with giant [[Laud Hailer|annunciation-engines]] blasting hymnals and sermons, as well as regular weaponry up to and including, Titan-sized [[Inferno Gun]]s and can transport tens-of-thousands of troops into battle.

Despite the [[Awesome|awesomemness]] of the concept, the Mobile Cathedrals have only appeared in like...[[Derp|two visual appearances]] (So they are very elusive), which is more of a testament to GW's [[Fail]]. Their size and design also varies to an extreme degree, which is not surprising given that regular cathedrals come in all shapes and sizes. The smaller ones are easily the size of the largest [[Titan (Warhammer 40,000)|Titans]] or the [[Capitol Imperialis]] whilst the biggest of the big are essentially [[Gloriana-class Battleship]]s on tracks (If the image on the right is legit and of any indication).

Fortunately, the recent release of the Sisters of Battle comic by [[/co/|Marvel]] in 2021 gave us further images of these things. Turns out their size is somewhere in the middle and they act like giant Sororitas drop-pods. Seriously, they have gaint rocket thrusters at the bottom to slow down their descent. Sure saves a lot on logistics in trying to find a dropship that could carry the damn things, unlike ''[[Emperor Battle Titan|some]] [[Ordinatus|ground]] [[Leviathan|vehicles.]]'' Their big enough to at least hold an entire ''legion'' of Sororitas including their armoury of [[Immolator]]s, [[Paragon Warsuit]]s, [[Exorcist]]s and [[Valkyrie]]s. The troops and ground vehicles usually enter from ramps on the side of the ship and exit on the ECKS BAWKS HUEG doors at the front, whilst aerial vehicles probably land on several helipads at the top. They are basically colossal <s>troop</s> ''ARMY'' assault transports that are so big, that a [[Retribution-class Battleship]] could only hold ''three'' of them in its hangar.

Due to their sheer size and importance, Mobile Cathedrals are basically the Ecclesairchy's equivalent of a [[Imperial Navy]] battlefleet on land and they are held in great reverence.
