==History== The Ninh understanding of their history is fragmented at best, and mythologized at worst. What has been acquired through the tireless work of scribes and Adepts of the Machine Cult has revealed the following to be largely truthful to reality. ===Before Contact=== The Ninh were the products of mankind's many attempts to master the environment. Little can be ascertained as to the techniques used in their creation, or by whom exactly proposed, then implemented their creation. By studying the Ninh themselves, the Genetors from Mars have learned a great deal. Namely though artificially constructed they were meant to breed naturally as regular humans do. The technology to make them has been lost like so many others to the sands of time and the turmoil throughout the ages. This was a blessing however, as it proved the Ninh were not a strain of mutated humanity but a stable strain of ''ab humanis''. Whatever facilities created the Ninh became abandoned in the darkness that befall humanity. Tragedy after tragedy brought the curators of the many laboratories to disease, madness, and old age. Humanity would not return to Kharsag until the Rogue Trader Megasu's Flotilla would arrive in 810.M30. The Ninh crawled forth into a dangerous world, for Kharsag was verdant but full of dangers. Many horrors had been freed along with them. The Ninh would struggle until their numbers allowed them to establish rudimentary civilization. A breakthrough in linguistics allowed them to translate STC patterns and dataslates giving them a technological edge over nature. The Ninh are peerless innovators, tinkerers, and all around crafty individuals. This does not extend merely into the realm of technology, but all manner of applications. From societal structure to primitive hunting traps, the Ninh managed to organize themselves in an alarmingly efficient manner. Despite their size, over time and with diligence, they overcame the many dangers of their homeworld. As the beasts were conquered, Kharsag's bounty as their's. A new era of development flourished as they attempted to build upon what scraps of information they had. Space faring came in this time, with both moons of the homeworld colonized in short order. ===First Contact=== The Rogue Trader Flotilla led by the wealthy, and influential former arms dealer Megasu Athon arrived into the Kharsag system, observing what seemed to be an exchange between the world itself and its two satellites. The ascension of the latest Irîtu, Enumuzi Irîtu had become heated to the point of civil war. The ruler was only nine years old, but would become known as a savant of his age. Both colonies had begun a campaign of open warfare to dethrone him anyway in a bid for power. Neither side could exert authority over the other, a perpetual stalemate ensued. Megasu met first with Enumuzi, establishing a line of communication and trade. It would not be until meeting in person with the rebels to establish an arms trade with them that it would become clear these were humanoid Xenos. They were in fact, something entirely new. Requests for the presence of [[Pallas Eugenesis]] were sent out across the warp, but her arrival would take time. Megasu continued pouring weapons into the hands of either side. The rebels eventually ran out of resources, immediately attempting to take over one of Megasu's ships in desperation. The attack failed miserably. In response to this, Megasu bombed the faction into rubble. Though Enumuzi had extreme disdain for the Rogue Trader's double dealing conduct, the boy ruler realized the strength of the Imperium of Man. Megasu made him sign in a new Compliance deal, one involving several backroom agreements. One of these involved twenty percent of the planet's population would be sent up to serve in the Imperium's armies. Half of that would work for the Rogue Trader directly. In return, [[Hektor Cincinnatus]] would personally sign in their Compliance making anyone who took umbrage into taking the near-human people in would have to meet with him directly. The Enumuzi truthfully had no recourse but to accept the deal. ===Servants of Terra===
