==About That War...==

The Empire is largely only known for its ongoing War with [[Hive Fleet]] Leviathan. The war was predominantly in the favour of the Tyranid, the Overfiend of the Empire even made one attempt to flee with his fleet to a nearby world, drawn by a stranded [[Avatar of Khaine]]'s psychic call, but he was soundly defeated by a small force of [[Space Marines]], who defeated a [[Saim-Hann]] warhost at the same time as well.

During the War one [[Mekboy|Mek]] was able to create a device which disrupted the synaptic control of the Tyranid, but a Deathwatch team slew the Mek and took the device for the Imperium.

Whilst the Tyranids were on the cusp of victory a new force arrived; [[Ghazghkull Thraka]] and his forces intervened to aid the losing Orks, turning the war into an evenly matched stalemate that has persisted since then.

As you know, the Ork Empire of Octarius is currently under a bit of 'preoccupation' from [[Tyranid]] [[Hive Fleet Leviathan]]. This hilarious merry clusterfuck of a war was intentionally set up by radical [[Inquisitor]] [[Kryptman]] in the vain hopes in allowing both forces to weaken each other after the conflict. [[FAIL|It did the direct opposite and made them stronger]]....[[Derp|Whooops!]] At the closing stage of the 41st Millennium, both Tyranid and Ork forces are at a biological stalemate....

....And then 8th Edition arrived and [[Khorne]] decided to kick up a notch at the party and invade the entire Octarius system. In a rather...bizarre and unexpected twist, [[Wat|both the Orks and Tyranids actually ''joined'' forces and pushed the invaders back.]] How a mindless horde known as the Tyranids could actually create a temporary ceasefire with ''another'' mindless horde known as the Orks is unknown (to be fair, it's not really teamwork so much as the khornate force appearing right in the middle of both forces, ending up sandwiched in the process). That being said the Khorne Warband somehow got away with a hormagaunt skull the size of a boulder.

After a grueling campaign of attrition the Swarmlord was able to kill the Overfiend and so Octaria fell. Six Warbosses are now vying to be the next Overfiend.
