==Overview== Resembling more an overgrown Skaven than they do a dog, it is actually unknown if the Pox Hound is a form of Warp creature like those other 'hounds' such as Chaos Hounds and Flesh Hounds, or is some unfortunate mutt that ate expired dog food. What we do know is that these guys are big, fucking gross and one of the most annoying little bastards in Darktide. Oh yes, these guys are up there with the Scab Trappers and Scab Snipers in terms of annoying. They are fucking fast and agile, making them hard to shoot, as well as being able to pounce and immobilize the player as he/she gets mauled by this overgrown mutt. The only indication you have of these little shits are their barking noise which is a good indicator to grab something to blow this fucker up. You can dodge to the side to avoid the pounce of the Pox Hound fortunately - it just takes a bit of practice to get the timing right. The audio cue for dodging the Hound's pounce is a high pitched bark that it always emits as it begins to pounce. Dodge sideways when you hear this and open fire. Flamers are a good weapon against these things as you can just let loose and cover the whole fucking floor on fire. If it does pin one of your teammates, hack off its head with your melee - it gains resistance to ranged weapons while mauling the poor sod. Psykers have a Penance locked behind Brain-Bursting one of these just as its pouncing. Good luck timing that. Death Guard
