==Second Edition==
A lot of the features that made the Psychic unique made the transition to Second Edition fairly unscathed, acting as an spontaneous Occult full-caster that's more in line with the Wizard. The most significant change that this class got was the fact that it can be either focused on Intelligence like normal or focused on Charisma. The main stat is determined by their Subconscious Mind Subclass. They also do not depend on emotional state in order to cast, just getting a more generic mental focus component.

Like the Wizard, they have two different subclass selections. Aside from the Subconscious Mind, they also have a Conscious Mind subclass that bestows not only special spells at each level, but also special psychic cantrips - all of which can be amplified by using they Focus pool instead of a Phrenic pool. On top of whatever those cantrips provide, there are also feats to spend in order to gain unique amps that can be slapped onto any cantrip.

New to this edition is the Unleash Psyche action, an ability that triggers a special state like the [[Barbarian]]'s Rage after casting a spell to not only improve the damage of spells but also opens access to special actions, one of which is determined by the Subconscious Mind subclass for other benefits.
