==Overview==
Primarily equipped with [[Flamer#Flamer|flamer]]s or more rarely [[Needle Sniper Rifle|assault needlers]] or [[Grenade Launcher|grenade launchers]] and wearing [[Vratine Armour]]. They can also throw a bunch of [[Grenades & Explosives#Psyk-Out Grenade|psyk-out grenades]] when necessary, as well as your standard [[Grenades & Explosives#Frag Grenade|frag]] and [[Grenades & Explosives#Krak Grenade|krak grenades]]. Their secondary tactical function is to deny rogue elements of escape routes, cut off avenues of ambush and prevent encirclement by often numerically superior opposition forces. Even within small detachments, the Seeker Cadres are deployed to prevent the interruption of the retrieval of the [[Imperial Tithe]]. For non-combat work such as restraining a target from afar or denying them access of their legs, they can be armed with a [[Snare Gun|snare gun]] for such situations.

However, in such instances, they are often presented as a force intended to intimidate the related governing structures and population into compliance through fear rather than having to carry out the promise of death and fire they so obviously represent, though of course they never shirk from this dark duty when it becomes necessary.
