==Tormentor Helm== Ah yes, the infamous dickhead gun. One day long ago, Cergorach spied a Harlequin sharing a drink with an Incubus and was struck by a sudden idea. Reaching into the Harlequin, he steered their conversation to discussing the merits of mandiblasters. The Incubus bemoaned that while he could hurt people by looking at them, he couldn't kill people by looking at them, to which the Harlequin offered a solution. Guided by Cergorach's own hands, the Harlequin drew his splinter pistol and grafted it to Incubus's helm with bonesinger song. Pleased, the laughing god continued on his way. The Tormentor Helm is the name of the helmet worn by Incubi warriors, and by god is this thing silly. The helms are easily recognisable by the scorpion tail-like gun protruding from the top of the helmet. Unfortunately for the poor wearer, the gun looks like an oversized flaccid penis. Who in GW though <u>THAT</u> was a good design choice, we have no idea. Anyways, the gun is actually a miniaturised Splinter Pistol, allowing the Incubi some form of ranged attack, as well as allowing for increased ability in melee combat. While the gun functions the same as a normal Splinter Pistol, the method with which the gun is fired has been replaced by a neural sensor embedded in the helmet. This sensor monitors the thoughts of the user and triggers the firing of the weapon once the command is thought. This allows for completely hands-free operation of the Incubus's firearm, a necessary development due to the sect's focus on assaulting using their infamous Punishers. There used to be models for this thing, but in a rare sign of GW having a conscience, it was removed in 5th Edition. Not even the Matt Ward-era of baby carriers and flying psychic dreadnoughts thought this was a good design. Tl;dr, this thing is basically the Dark Eldar version of the Striking Scorpion's Mandiblaster. They both function the same in similar roles, with the main difference being the Mandiblaster is actually reasonably designed, whereas the Tormentor Helm...is not.
