== History == The world in this setting is quite different then what most would be familiar with. The point of divergence and can be found on October 10th, 1914 when British Royal Engineers were dredging a lake stumbled upon an ancient sword. Upon drawing the sword from it’s scabbard they discovered that it glowed with a Fey Light at the edges. And written on either sides of the blade were the words “Take me up.” While the other said “Cast me away.” The artifact was presented to the proper authorities who would finally conclude that it indeed was the legendary sword [[Excalibur]]. This discovery prompted a massive search for more relics within the borders of England. It was when British Military Commanders began to wield these weapons did other nations begin their own searches for their own mystical devices. However, unknown to many, the uses of these [[Magic|magical]] artifacts was having a strange effect on the planet. For centuries magic had been slowly closed off like water from a tap as mankind slowly moved towards technology and reason to explain the world around them. As the level of magic decreased these supernatural elements began to fade into the background of history soon becoming myths and legends no longer to be believed to be actual fact. Finally nearly all the worlds magic had been sealed away. Only to be found in the far remote corners of the world or with the various hidden magical artifacts.
