==House Lynd of Gulltown== House Lynd of Gulltown Realm: Gulltown, in the Vale of Arryn Banner: A light grey serpent eating its tail, on sea green. Words: Born Anew House Lynd of Gulltown began with house Lynd of the Snakewood, a vassal to House Lynderly, created due to the service of the founding night for Lynderly and Arryn on the side of the Blacks. A relatively minor house, they were nearly brought to ruin when the Mountain Clans sacked their castle, located in the western Snakewood. The family was nearly wiped out, with only a few sons who were in Braavos at the time surviving. The Iron Bank of Braavos would be their salvation, as they set up trade to Gulltown from Braavos, eventually being able to purchase a manor there and establish themselves. Today, House Lynd of Gulltown is mostly known for the trade routes they still operate from Braavos. Their only main holding is their manor in Gulltown itself, and they are very much a house of city-folk. They do provide a few soldiers for their lieges in House Grafton. During Robert’s Rebellion they, like the Graftons, remained loyal to the Targaryans until defeated by Jon Arryn. House Lynd is too small to have any vassals of note. Technically, House Lynd of Snakewood still exists, and the land is still owned, but that castle remains mostly ruins, with a few cousins having moved into the tower there and ruling a small village. ===Stats=== Defenses: 46 Influence: 25 Land: 9 Law: 23 Population: 14 Power: 21 Wealth: 31
