====Enclave==== The Enclave are about what you'd expect; an elite focused faction with expensive models (a stock Enclave Soldier is more expensive than a Brotherhood Knight with some gear) that hits hard and refuses to die to anything less than concentrated fire. Their main gimmick is their reliance on Aura abilities, providing various buffs to units in Enclave or Hellfire power armor within range. These range from extra dice to help with combat rolls or other benefits such as shooting into melee without risk of hitting your own forces. You can only get one instance of each aura, so most Enclave forces only bring one of each model they want to maximize the amount of buffs they have, maximizing the power of the force at the cost of lacking ant redundancy; even more than the Brotherhood of Steel, each model lost is going to hurt, as not only have you lost an expensive model, you've also lost the bonuses that model was throwing out. That being said, you do have some other options available, such as some robots to provide either cheap bodies or heavy support options, a Deathclaw, and of course, the absolute beast that is Harrigan himself. * Enclave Soldier: Your long range shooter for Enclave, the Soldier is perhaps the most mediocre of the Aura options. This is not to say it is bad, but a Yellow dice is only as useful as your target is armored, and the ability to ignore cover at short range, while always nice, is likely not going to come up too often, as units that close generally will be melee-focused and thus want to charge. This combined with the fact that Soldiers want to fight at long range, ideally with a Laser Rifle, makes the Soldier the model most likely to get left at home in an Enclave list. Still, might see some use in mirror matches and against Brotherhood lists. * Tesla Soldiers: your main dedicated melee brawler of your power armor boys and a staple if Enclave lists, Tesla Soldiers add a green die and remove untargeted models from melee randomization for everyone in their Aura range, making your attacks more accurate while keeping your models in melee safe should you need to shoot into it. They also get Tesla Coils if equipped with either Enclave or Hellfire armor (which they should always have one of) which gives them a bit of extra damage in melee, which is where they want to be. Give them a good melee weapon, maybe a close range gun if you can afford it, and send these boy to town. Just make sure his buddies stay close by. Generally the best pick for Hellfire Armor, as they melee using their Agility, which Hellfire doesn't effect. * Hellfire Trooper: Your designated heavy gunner. Give a black die and removes penalties for using guns in melee, making him another staple in Enclave. Ironically not likely to be wearing its namesake power armor, as it doesn't really do anything for him, save cost caps that could be spent elsewhere. * Enclave Trainee: A worse Soldier, costing less caps but losing stats and anything that made the Soldier useful. They are a paradox of a unit; to get the most out of them you'd have to give them power armor, thus driving up their costs and removing the point of the unit, but they contribute nothing barebones while also losing out on your Auras.That being said, if your running a lot of campaign games or special scenarios, these guys make excellent cannon fodder for PCs your not confident can handle the full on Enclave, giving them some potentially good loot while not necessarily murdering them outright. Paint up some of your extra Soldiers and Teslas with different shoulder pads if you want to go this root.
