I found out who is head of the merchant guild.  A gnome family has been running it for generations.  Getting to them isn't easy, they always move with bodyguards.  I can't just kill them, they are Baldy's main source of income and if they go down, so does the regional economy.  They usually hang out at one of the high class cafe's in town and drink imported coffee while discussing how to increase profits.  They have the whole cafe shut down in the meantime.  So I got as close to them as I could, slipping into the second floor of the cafe, the owner's apartment, and did my best.  I gave them all guilt.  It should take some time to bake, but it's pretty deep seated.  I also gave one of their body guards some delicious greed.  Small pushes.  We'll see how this works itself out.  In other news, AVERY STOP READING MY JOURNAL.
