The buffs it offers can make the Captain terrifying in terms of damage capability, but its armor value is the second lowest of the whole lot, sometimes leaving him more vulnerable than even with the Armor of Resilience due to the presence of knockback. Use it alongside the Power Axe and Plasma Pistol and you can tear apart blobs of heavy infantry in a matter of seconds.
