===Features & Defects=== '''Features''' *Hidden(feature/defect) cost 3: a feature is hidden behind a movable plate or similar, and so is unnoticeable until revealed. e.g. Hidden (power leech) costs 13 *IR Sensor *Cost 3: A robot's cameras can sense infrared light. The robot's TN for visual-based Perception checks to detect a heat-emitting source such as another robot is lowered by 1, including a robot engaging Silent Mode. This does not affect any other visual-based Perception check. The idea here is to be a cheap version of Enhanced Cameras - the PR gets the bonuses to spot other robots but not small details like searching for a small object or to read a damaged instruction manual. *Motion Sensor *Cost 3: A robot has an additional set of sensors to detect moving objects in a 360 degree radius around it. The robot receives one automatic reroll on a failed Perception check to notice any source of motion such as another robot attempting to sneak past it, however the other robot must move at least one meter for this feature to engage. Another robot engaging a feature but not moving will not count for the reroll. Mainly intended for security robots or as a vestige of a safety feature on industrial robots. Makes a robot much harder to sneak by but ''not'' easier to notice things that aren't moving - like a robot in Silent Mode or hostile robots waiting an ambush by the side of the road. *Data Connectors *Cost: 3: The robot is equipped with a set of external connectors that will allow it to directly connect with all common data sources such as computer networks or external hard drives instead of using the usual human interface (ie; the keyboard and monitor). This feature does not give the robot any increased ability to reprogram, repair, or reset another robot in any way. Initially interfacing with any system or device requires a successful DigiCon check. This will generally come in handy when attempting to retrieve stored data from a system that has been either broken due to violence or neglect, or whose power supply is no longer available. The Programmer should be creative with the results of this as the possibilities are almost endless. *Shock Tool *Cost: 4: The robot is equipped with a tool that can store and suddenly discharge a large amount of electricity. Before engaging this feature the robot must take one turn to charge the tool's capacitors, after which it must make contact with a target robot or object within one turn. In either case the robot must wait two turns before the Shock Tool may be recharged. Striking an unwilling target with the tool requires an interaction check. If successful a target robot rolls a single D10: on a roll of 1-2 it is unaffected, on a roll of 3-5 it is immobile for one turn but may otherwise act, on a roll of 6-8 it may not move or interact but can still communicate, and on a roll of 9-10 is shut down entirely. The affected robot may resume normal function the next turn whatever the result. Think 'taser' applied to robots; with different results to keep it from being a gamebreaker. '''Defects''' *Colorblind *Gain 3: A robot's cameras can only see in greyscale and cannot distinguish any colors. This feature is more up to the Programmer to be clever with than the PR. At first glance it appears to be easy points back with no real downside, but could really come back to bite a PR when they need to push the right button to turn something on/off or connect the right pair of wires. *Obvious(feature/defect) gives 3: a feature is painted a different color or has a flashing light/makes a noise when used as to make it extremely obvious to onlookers of its presence. this differs from noisy as it only attracts attention when used or when the PR is being looked at. e.g. Obvious (exposed power switch) would give back 11 ----
