====Bulbiri==== The Bulbiri are barbaric peoples of the Frozen North scattered throughout the area. All members of the tribes are humans though they are much more muscular in nature, including the women. Their tribes vary from thorps to large towns, though none are large enough to be considered a city. The Bulbiri are paler than most humans, though have a resistance to the harsh winters of the region. They are a warrior-tribe that constantly is in conflict with other tribes and even some cities. They tend not to worishp the Gods except for Gruul. They believe that the afterlife is an enternal celebration, where fallen warriors are praised for their acomplishments. Bulbiri believe that those who die in battle will join Gruul himself in the afterlife and that the greatest warriors will serve Gruul. Bulbiri settlements are usually permanent, though some Bulbiri are nomads. Their settlements mostly consist of stone houses and they have a heavy impact on the northern meat market, what with them being exceptional hunters of big game. Inns are not common in Bulbiri settlements, travellers are expected to make their own lodging though some Bulbiri allow travellers to stay in their houses in return for labor or necesseties. They are a barbaric folk, most are seen as dumb by the civilized and nearly none can read or write. The Bulbiri are also known for having excellent weapons, not generally good-looking but they do their job better than most other weapons. Bulbiri are seen as an aloof people, rarely socializing outside their tribe, and tend not to get along with a lot of people, but a befriended Bulbiri will fight to the death for his allies and is an exceptional fighter. In settlements it's common for Bulbiri to fight, sometimes to the death, over what some say are simple matters. Bulbiri prefer to solve an argument with their fists, and when families are involved, they fight to the death. This fight to the death is called a "Yisrah" by the Bulbiri. When two families argue over an incident such as who has the right to lead a war band, who gets to claim a territory, or even who should host a celebration, they begin a "Yisrah". In the "Yisrah", each family selects their best fighter who will fight the other family's best fighter to the death. Both are to wear no armor, and no clothes, except for a loin cloth. Each uses his or hers favourite weapon, and both have a similar shield. They fight out in the harsh cold until one is dead. There is no hate between the fighters, for they acknowledge the other as a brother in arms. The losing family can not challenge the other family again for the same claim and the winning family gains indisputable right to the claim. Both warriors that partake in a "Yisrah" are glorified by the tribe, and the losing fighter is commemorated by the tribe. In addition, the losing member of the "Yisrah" has a life-sized statue built in his honor, and the statue is given to the winning family which they must display in their territory to honor the warrior. The losing family is also respected, as someone who dies in combat honorably goes to the afterlife as a figure of glory.
