==Current situation== Even amongst the grotesque Green Men, his appearance is extremely bizarre. His body appears to be made entirely of fruits, vegetables, grain and other gifts of nature. His nose looks like a large pear, his eyebrows appear to be ears of wheat, and his curly hair seems to be made of grape vines; his fingers are identical to carrots and his teeth are indistinguishable from corn kernels. Even stranger than his appearance is the gift that the Ruinous Powers have blessed him with, for Alraun seems to radiate life energy. Bushes and grass sprout from the ground he walks on, wooden objects he touches take root and grow branches, linen cloth sprouts hundreds of blue flowers in his vicinity. But this outlandish ability is hardly as harmless as it sounds, for when Alraun touches living beings, cancerous tumours begin growing in the spots where he touched them, eventually outgrowing their hosts and reducing them to helpless, twitching appendices on their own hulking, bulbous bodies. Although Alraun prefers to blast his foes from afar with profane sorcery, he is a force to be reckoned with in close combat. He always wields the dreaded Cornucopia Baculus - a heavy wooden staff topped with a hollow horn of a Daemon Prince. This cursed artefact always contains an unlimited supply of the most poisonous fruits, berries and mushrooms in the Galaxy, ripe and bursting with juice. Their deadly juices constantly drip and flow from the horn, drenching the staff in potent poison which Alraun himself is immune to. But for mere mortals, its touch heralds inevitable death, and even mighty Space Marines experience horrible hallucinations and searing pain when struck with it. The staff also amplifies his owner's life-giving abilities, allowing him to summon forth impenetrable jungles amidst a barren landscape. As of late, Alraun has taken a keen interest in the sorceries of the Craftworld Eldar, even going as far as invading them to steal their secrets. Recently he spearhead the invasion of a minor Craftwold Aleolan, named the Garden of Isha for its numerous horticultural wonders. In preparation for the invasion, Alraun sent a small strike force against Aleolan's Aspect Warriors. Although the Green Men were quickly repelled, a victory was never their goal: they merely sought to leave some seeds and spores on the armour of their adversaries. When the Aspect Warriors returned to the Craftworld, the seeds stuck on their armour dried up and fell off, with some of them ending in the soil. In just a couple of solar cycles they grew into gigantic red flowers, constantly emitting great clouds of somnolescent pollen that soon drove everyone in Aleolan to sleep. It was then that Alraun's warhost attacked, meeting hardly any resistance from the drowsy Aspect Warriors. After raiding the Craftworld's extensive libraries, he got to the vaults where the Soulstones were kept and started greedily consuming them. The resulting overflow of power amplified his life-giving abilities hundredfold, making all of the plants in Aleolan grow to colossal size with staggering speed, eventually tearing the Craftworld asunder with their monstrous roots. Unfortunately, Alraun managed to escape at the last moment with stolen knowledge in tow. [[Category:The /tg/ Heresy]]
