The Hopping Prophet keeps many toad-like retainers, especially the [[beastfolk]] races of [[Grung]], [[Bullywug]]s and even a smattering of [[Grippli]]. Despite their evil nature Wastri's faith is an orderly one wherein the rights and duties of the faithful are exacted by the clerics. Humans his followers captured are warped into demi-toads, if this procedure fails they are [[Grimdark|impaled on stakes outside of Wastri's territory.]] His followers practice a fighting style that involves leaping into battle armed with glaives coated in the most horrible poisons. Wastri himself wields the Skewer of the Impure, a glaive-guisarme. The big man is not very inclined to take to battle himself: instead he hangs back with his high priest, high-ranking clerics and a pair of bigass toads. That is not to say Wastri cannot kick ass: his levels are [[Cleric]] 15/[[Monk]] 8/[[Assassin]] 7, so if push comes to shove, he will fuck you up.

In Oerth Journal #8, it's stated he uses alternate guises to appeal to bands of frog-kin beyond the known reach of his mainstream faith; to the [[bullywug]]s, he is Wug'gi; to the [[grung]], he is the female deity Rrabek, and he has likewise subverted some [[grippli]] tribes as the goddess Suujok. None of these races are aware that these are guises for Wastri, and they would be outraged to discover it.
