===Warped Origins===
The main focus of this AU is this: “What would the Legions and Primarchs be like if they lived different lives on their homeworlds?” Many Primarchs have their personalities and even their names changed—Alpharius is Warmaster and Emperor's favorite much to "second son" Horus's envy, Corvus *Tyrannus* is raised by Kiavahr's tech-guilds and becomes an unrepentantly cruel slaver and tyrant, Perturabo gets to be happy (at least until the Heresy), and so on. This results in the eventual Heresy playing out quite differently. Horus is still the Arch-Traitor, but his rebellion starts out as one motivated by politics and ideology, and it is the mysterious outsider Gawain Morogan (canon Lion El'Jonson...it's a long story) who corrupts the Traitor side to Chaos.

The two Lost Legions get filled in and explained in this AU as well, playing a small role in the plot.
