[[tl;dr]]: As baked into vanilla, it's basically the same as the game's PVE, only your enemies are actual people who have access to the same stuff as you (though they are unlikely to be using the same stuff as you unless you're going for [[Powergamer|the meta]]). Some weapons behave differently for PVP balance reasons when hitting other players, so keep that in mind. You also get less I-frames so you can't abuse super-tanky builds.
