===Rescue at Xon===
Receiving an urgent distress call from an Imperial outpost on the planet of Xon, all Imperial ships in the area were to respond. As it stood, the ''Happenstance'' was the only ship in the area not engaged in other affairs. Captain Sasha Kromisha ordered the crew to prepare for the unknown upon their arrival. As the ship arrived in orbit the planet had come under attack from a Tyranid splint fleet and the distress calls became for frequent. Braving the insurmountable odds, the ''Happenstance'' engaged the fleet entering low orbit to meet the Imperial ships attempting to escape the atmosphere in hopes of better odds out in the void. Sergeant Kell made contact with the ship and helped in coordinating the mass evacuation of the Imperial soldiers planet side. Kell also made mention of a Deathwatch team, Talon Squad, on a mission to aid an Inquisitor but the shuttle had crashed to the south of the outpost. He had furthermore attempted to contact the team and appraise them of the current situation but interference did not allow it. Leaving the ship in the hands of her 1st Officer, Sasha assembled a small envoy of Storm Troopers and Mechanicum Skitarii to accompany her to alert the Deathwatch in person. The reentry into the atmosphere was made nearly impossible with the swarms of the Tyranids but the shuttle managed to punch through and maneuver to the last known position of the Inquisitor.

It only took them an hour to locate and establish a short range Vox frequency where the Deathwatch Team was given the dire state of the world. Unable to break from their mission they ordered Sasha to return to the ship and come back another time to retrieve them, or what remained of their corpses if there was indeed anything left. Disobeying the orders she feigned a crash after sending orders to the Happenstance to break orbit and return with reinforcements and joined forces of the Deathwatch and Inquisitor. Be it far from the time or place, Davious was glad to see the Captain in good spirits and fiery as ever. The allies marched across field and through forest until reaching their intended destination, a set of caves at the base of the southern mountain ranges. Inside lay the prize sought by the Inquisitor.

Talon Squad provided the rear guard as the advancing Tyranids forced the party inside the caves. Drexes led them deep inside the caves and caverns eventually loosing the forward Tyranid threat for a time. In one of the larger caverns the Inquisitor began their work while the other humans rested. Sasha sought out Davious to regale him with the tales of her travels but he was nowhere to be found. When asking the whereabouts of the Maverick Marine Jo'Rana replied: 

     "The Maverick goes to recount his demons of the dark in the light that blocks the sun."

Unable to decipher its meaning she set her troops to fortifying their position. An hour or two had passed and the screeching of Tyranids could be heard echoing throughout the caves drawing nearer. The defensive line held using the narrow caves to their advantage, stemming the flow of the onslaught. They would be overwhelm, it would only be a matter of time. Talon Squad lended their support as the Inquisitor unearth an ancient looking box. As the lines were overrun Sasha held fast using the powerful sword to hack at anything that moved against her. Drexes had to physically remove her from combat as the squad moved on leaving the Storm Troopers and Skitarii to fight to their last, giving much needed time to make it to safety.

After being retrieved by the ''Happenstance'' and a small fleet of Imperial vessels, Sasha received an order from Davious to return to the Profanus System with a shipment that was to be taken to the Maverick Marines Chapter Master, The True Maverick. The orders further stated that she was to accept a new station under Admiral Floppycock; a naval commander of resound strategy and efficiency assigned to the Rouge Trader House, House Bellend.
