==IRL== The Brit's first attempt at a "breakthrough" vehicle, the Churchill GC was built to house a high-velocity gun that could punch through enemy armor and fortifications equally, while also having enough armor to shrug off enemy attacks. Because the Churchill I-III had a very narrow turret, Vauxhall's solution was to mount a fixed casemate and create an Stug-style SPG to fit the gun (the Churchill I already had a hull-gun, anyway). Mounting a 76mm (3-inch) anti-aircraft gun that was being phased out of Navy service, they made around 50 of them before they realized that the tank was pretty much redundant: the 17-pdr, a gun already in-service, was already being adapted on the much more useful Achilles (which had a turret) and maneuverable [[Archer (Tank Destroyer)|Archer]]. The British decided to go with the less derpy options, though some madlads decided to continue exploring the "Breakthrough" concept of extremely-heavy, casemate-style assault guns through blueprints. {{Template:British Forces in Flames of War}}
