As such magical is seen as a useful tool in battle with even the most basic of hoplites having some rudimentary performance enhancing abilities performed with magic. Anyone seeking to further their knowledge of the magical arts travel to the Temple of Apolion in Delphus to receive a more in depth training and due to the scale of the establishment and the amount of battle mages the army in general has a great variety of these mages.
