==Trivia== Fun Fact: this 40k Game is the opposite when compared to [[Dawn of War II]] at least in some ways: this game is basically a Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn mod while Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight is a Dawn of War II mod. The game could be unforgiving at times and if you had not prepared yourself adequately before a battle you might find your curb stomped under the approaching green tide. After one or two earliest urban combats around taking the first spaceport, forget melee combat(Except Titan vs Stompa), forget combined arms with APC's and riders except for very niche few hive territory fights(even then you will use very few "narrow" units for urban traversing). After that, it's time to [[Dakka|rain titan killer vortex missiles, manticores, whirlwinds, mortars and basilisks]] while praying that the Orks' Kustom Kannon shitstorm of 10(!!!) salvos don't tear your precious tanks apart in one shot. And don't forget advancing on a single firing line and overlap every square as Orks need only win once, but you need to win all the time. As you can see from some screenshots of the in-game unit viewer, the developers had plans to bring the Space Marines, Chaos, Eldar, and Tyranids into the game through expansion packs. But sadly, the game was discontinued before those plans could be realized. And what a great tragedy it is to know that a good game filled with potential ended up being left behind as an unfinished work.
