==Mandalorian Gauntlet Fighter== Remember that time that FFG forced you to rebuy all your models for the next edition so that they could add a new base size between "Small" and "Large"? This baby is gonna need a new base size between "Large" and "Huge". At 56% bigger than the Shadow Caster, a ship that already needed its own custom peg just to stand on its base, this thing could easily be a Huge ship. Doesn't help that it's also as wide as it is long. Bo-Katan's ship from the much beloved Mandalorian TV series, they apparently decided that being a Mandalorian specific ship meant that it could be used by every single pilot and faction ever included in the game. Also it's conspicuously faster than most ships of its size, with half its dial being blue and only three red maneuvers including a red stop. Adding to its "Huge Ship on a Large Base" status, it also can fill numerous roles as a mothership, heavy bomber, or anything in between. Because of its size and bowtie arc it may even fill a reasonable role as a viable fire magnet though its comparative fragility for its size (1 more hull but 3 fewer shields than a barebones Falcon) with only 2 Evade dice to protect it hinders its ability in this respect somewhat. With judicious use of its red reinforce action (highly abusable because of how many blues appear on the dial) you can offset this somewhat, but that requires some good prediction depending on what pilots you choose. Really solidifying its role as a small Huge Ship though is the fact that it comes with boarding parties for every faction, allowing you to basically drop saboteurs like bombs. Double payloads, crew, gunner, and the obligatory illicit all come standard. ===Gauntlet Pilots=== *Shadow Collective Operator: Init 1 Generic. Fit 3 in a 2.0 list and still have room for upgrades. 2.5 sadly nixed this. *Rook Kast: Money Grubber who thought Maul was a pretty cool guy. Got her ass beat by Bo-Katan and is still butthurt about it to this day. RAW she can target lock and get a strain token in the same turn. Can spend strain like calculate. Trades a payload for a talent slot *Maul: Horny Angry Marine who lost forty pounds with the help of Obi-wan Kenobi and decided maybe being a Sith wasn't for him. Force 3 Init 5. Can spend a Force to turn his Red Coordinate into a white and do it twice for free. Good as a squad commander, but you're paying a hefty premium for him.
