====The Separatist Heresy====
The main events of the Horus Heresy play out much as we know them, save for a few minor exceptions. Such as the homeworld and the names of some primarchs, as well as their legions.

The real change comes after the heresy, when the Primarch of the Thirteenth Legion proclaims independence from the Empire of Ultramar, to which some of his brothers show their support, causing a further division in the already fractured Imperium of Man.
