Nyx is a white dwarf from an eons-old supernova; its sole remaining world, Thanatos, is a dead, cold lump of rock notable for containing a metal with potent anti-Warp properties, which the Apriori forge into weapons.  A [[Necron]] tomb was discovered in the process of mining; it seems that its presence is related to that of the metal, though it is unclear which came first.
